Chelsea vs Liverpool.

Chelsea are evens with lad broke and hills ( and I'm sure with others).

Following an depth post from tikay, I'm still not sure what makes a bet and this "true odds" scenario.

But the recent theme if Liverpool odds being history driven rather than actual talent/form, this has to be a value bet if the weekend?!

We just come back from a long Russia trip, on Thursday. Chelsea played at home and with a boosting late win.
We don't play we'll at the bridge (unless its dalglish playing or managing)
Terry back after ban will give them presence
We are miles away from them in form, players etc
They really should be comfortable odds on
I'm a Liverpool fan and this is one of the most painful post I've ever done!

Morning Wazzy.

Good stuff, all the ingredients are there, the only thing I don't know well enough is if the price is correct, or has factored it all in already.

Personally, I think Chelsea @ Evens is a steal, but we'd better see what The Big Boys say first.

If we get some warmth, we'll get on, & the bet will be owned by you.

We have a bit of time to muse & dither, as it is not until tomorrow.

Thanks mate.

Morning Sir,   We'll await the verdict. So do i understand the price correct/not correct, being that we "know more" than the bookies, that we've spotted an edge that the bookies haven't considered?

I thus presume the big boys work this out and have an idea what has been factored in to creating the odds??

EXACTLY that.

I suspect they will say that the bookies KNEW all that, & factored it into the price.

Personally, Chelsea @ Evens to beat Liverpool @ Stamford Bridge looks a steal to me, but we need the guys to give a view on it.

Would be good to see tightys view on Leicester v Forest.

Thinking having Leicester in an accy & hopefully get a winner to 'mark off' - seen 4/5, not amazing price.

Avoid

too tricky to call.

How can it rain in Brisbane?

The one time I don't contact meterological contacts in Queensland, how can it rain?

I would have done a nice graph and everything

Shattered.

Rugby Union England v Fiji at Twickenham ( where I have a 100% kicking success rate )

My first thoughts were like most peoples - England score 50 points. However I have done some research to get a better feel for the game. Fiji last toured over here 2 years ago losing 2 matches, France 12- 34 , Italy 16-24, and drawing with Wales 16-16. All their players are professional and playing around the World. England will win but it won't be a pushover.

The market that I think has some value is the total points market. England are not a fluent team, they are functional. They also have several Saracens players who as Mr Bad Beat knows do not score many tries outside of Belgium. I believe that the game plan for England will not be to score 50+ points, but will be to give  away few penalties and under no circumstances concede a try. They will essentially be preparing for the tougher games in the next few weeks.

England also have an inexperienced team, and inexperienced players are more anxious to not make a mistake than to be creative. Plus Mr T says it is cold, damp and overcast round his house which affects Fiji's ability to score by a lot and England's by a medium amount.

Suggest £20 Under 47.5 points @  11/4 Blue Square.

I will send a weather report from Stamford Bridge later, as that is where I am heading now.  Will also provide prawn sandwich update if needed.

See what they say.  If they've take all above into consideration, and still come up with evens?!  What on earth would they have been if that wasn't the case!

If I can conextualise the 2010 games, the France game was in rotten weather, the Italy game was full of awful handling errors and poor discipline and Wales played so badly Garland dropped the captain Ryan Jones immediately after the match.

And the 2009 games Ireland 41 Fiji 6, Scotland 23 Fiji 10.
