By the way, I must pay thanks to horseplayer, who showed me how & where to find Corner Stats from.

I now investigate Corner Markets on almost every game. Very nice niche market, imo.

I don't mind organising tickets for the Wembley match (might even get a group discount).

But I need everyone who wants to go to pay in advance and I don't want the hassle of chasing people up.

The Blonde day at the races was a letdown, with everyone pulling out at the last minute and I ended up going on my own.

Think general sale is first week in January, so we'll have to take on trust that the 49ers win the Superbowl.

Possible itinerary for Blonde's Fred Bash

Sat:

Meet up lunchtime for beer, lunch and watching/punting on Premiership match

3pm. Championship/L1/2 match in London. Brentford, Orient, Barnet (oooooooooo that would be appropriate if they're at home!), Dagenham.. Aldershot or Wycombe if pushed

8pm Dinner. I really fancy going here http://thehawksmoor.com/ heard great reviews and keep putting it off. This seems like a great time to try it out.


Sun:

1pm Meet up for early Premiership game in pub.

5pm. Watch Colin destroy the woeful Jaguars. Having lumped on -13.5

That's why it's perfect, there can be no excuses for being busy etc.. because if something else comes up for that weekend you can say "sorry, I'm busy got tickets for the NFL that weekend, can we make it another weekend?"

be great if the thread heroes like mere, tal, horsey, bobby, red, hector and chompy could come.

It would be great to meet them and lots of other contributors.

I'll start a thread later for questions / ideas / acceptances.
