Let me just check my Diary......

That's why it's perfect, there can be no excuses for being busy etc.. because if something else comes up for that weekend you can say "sorry, I'm busy got tickets for the NFL that weekend, can we make it another weekend?"

be great if the thread heroes like mere, tal, horsey, bobby, red, hector and chompy could come.

It would be great to meet them and lots of other contributors.

I'll start a thread later for questions / ideas / acceptances.

Think it will be fantastic.

In assuming we can organise and guarantee a decent turnout from early as I will need to book flights etc so would be a bit annoying to do all that and then find out people had pulled out.

Sounds good. Always wanted to do NFL game, and hopefully by then they will be everyones fav team.

Also met GW in Vegas a few years back and not seen him since. Be good to meet everyone.

Daily Report as at 1900, Monday 17th December

We made a profit of £8 yesterday.

6 bets completed, five of them on SPOTY.

The 5 SPOTY bets comprised backing/laying Miss Ennis, laying/backing Wiggo, in total they made a small profit. Then we had Ben Ainslie, who would have won SPOTY if the rest of our Olympians had not performed so damn well, so he cost us £25. He got less votes than poor Mo, as it happened.

That apart, the hector bandwagon trundled on, this time for an Unders bet which ended up a bit too close for comfort, but in the end, made us £20. I’m a little confused as to whether Hector have given us 6, or 7, on the bounce, probably the former, but it’s still quite a streak. It excludes, of course, his “Silly Savers” & other sports.

The cricket bets are NOT included in these numbers, as they were struck before the cricket finished. Tomorrow, then.

A very quiet day, really, hector heroics apart, & we almost expect them now.

NFL game sounds brilliant, Camel. Only trouble for me is that the London game normally clashes with the International Poker Open in Dublin. A group of us go over every year so that would be a No if it clashes.

NBC ran it as a feature during the game last night, so if it is fake they have fooled a few.

I will be at the 49ers game at Wembley but will be with my dad, who is a massive Niners fan.

The IPO is usually the weekend of my birthday, which is why I don't go.

That isn't the same as the weekend of this NFL game.
