I think we won our bet from Hector?  7-6 by my reckoning.

Yes, we did (somehow)

"how can someone describe Lumb's 10 ball innings as having a torrid time?"

Again because he used up 8% of his team's balls.  Getting a single or whatever he got is disasterous.  I know Gayle does it sometimes, but he generally catches up (aside from the big bash today).  But if you don't catch up you have really dented your team's chances.

Yeah, this is true, just seens a little harsh, but then again i suppose its just the format. Just felt so harsh when my poker brain was screaming lol variance and [ ] sample size Tongue

Its not quite describing Lumb as being terrible either, just a torrid time.

up, 2/3 from Player performance for me. Dhoni fell 2 short from the CBL line for you Tighty? Annoying.

Yes Adam

24 not out from Dhoni, with a dropped catch that would have added 10...I didn't actually have him down to come in as low as 6-7 either, which was my mistake

Will use CricketBetLive though, nice set of markets, usable interface. Prices might be a bit too good though :-0

"He has bowled precisely 2 overs?"

Which is half a bowler's allocation in T20.  If he can't hit the ground running he is no good for the format.

You didn't say he was having a bad match, you said he was utterly inadequate, and now you say he is no good at the format.

After 2 overs.

Hoping you aren't on the jury when I am in court.

Well I'll probably have decided half way through the trial if you have a nightmare and I don't like the look of you in the dock.     Wink

There was a famous case in one of Her Majesty's courts where the jury in murder trial got a Ouija board out and asked the deceased whether the defendant had killed her. Then convicted.

no view on the nicholls bet tikay

does not neccesarily apply to nicholls as he is a superb trainer with superb horses but as a generalisation trainers are blind to the opposition and always think there horse "will win" or  "is a good each way bet"

received a fantastic spam email earlier in the week from a work rider supposedly at one of the bigger jump yards with a 6-4 shot that had already won.....

as i have said before elsewhere if a work rider knew that much why are you still getting up at 4am to shovel shite for three hours? Smiley

Don't want to debunk your theory but...............

Emphasises HP's point perfectly, it's national news if a stable boy gets the lot.
