Update:
I know Fred didn't get involved but I'm aware of one person at least who took my advice and backed O'Driscoll for next BFC manager.
For anyone who did there's reason to feel encouraged this morning, although no official news is expected until next week.
Currently Evens with StanJ, 4/7 with SkyBet.

Thanks Curtis.
I think you tipped him at 4/1 or somesuch, well done, so we missed the value boat there. ;(
Think it was much bigger than 4/1.
Tikay, I think there has been two contradicting suggestions on the Bri v New game. Anthony obv wanted Brighton side.
Ahh, my bad Scotty, apologies. More haste & all that......
Isn't an apology on TfT a yellow card offence?

Hello all
Bit busy to research and recommend myself, but wasn't there some talk of getting on the Bengals as dogs at Houston tonight?
Houston's form has dropped off a cliff. Cincinatti a very under-rated defense and plenty of scoring options too
Should be quite close, and Houston are 1/2 outright, 4.5 point favourites on the spread
You can get nearly 2-1 the Bengals outright....
Camel? redarmi? Neil? Leknave? Horneris? Kukishkin? bobby1? anyone else I have forgotten?
Keith and I discussed it briefly and both like the Texans iirc. I certainly prefer the Texans and have bet them.

Just reread Keith post and actually he suggested he expected to want to bet cinncy and fancied an upset but expec ted the line to be north of 7 and as such possibly preferred Texans at prices. My view is simply i thought it should be 6.5, maybe 7.

The computer program I use has spat out Houston by 7.
I liked them at -4.5 before that, now I make them the best of the weekend.

Ladbrokes are doing an offer on FA cup matches this weekend. If you back a lower division team and they take it to a replay you get the same bet on the return leg up to £50.
Ideal situation is backing the lower division team away from home in the first leg, as then you will be getting big odds for the home fixture should it end in a draw.
At first glance the fixtures that look appealing are:
Sheff Wed v MK Dons
Millwall v Preston
Derby v Tranmere
Only got the fixtures infront of me and no odds, so not sure if ladbrokes have slashed the prices, but should be decent if can get anything close to what betfair is offering.
Nice spot...price stays the same in the t&c
Bet on the replay will apply at the original price offered on the first game regardless of whether the price for the team in the replay is longer or shorter.
Couldn't see the actual offer on their website to place a bet.....contacted them, and they said it will be available from tomorrow!.
Probably do my team Bournemouth, at Wigan. We are on a long unbeaten run, confidence high, and fancy us to get something out of the match, especially if Wigan don't play at full strength.
Wigan 9 changes, good....... however B'mouth only 3/1 with Laddies...up to 4/1 elsewhere

I'd be astonished if that won tbh.
The two films ahead of it are one about Abraham Lincoln and another about catching Osama Bin Laden. In an American awards ceremony, surely not.

Entirely my fault. Got preoccupied trying to win a poker tournament.
Am on Ruby to win the Welsh national. Don't tell Helen Chamberlain tho

Bet suggestion: Over 1.5 goals in the first half of the middlesbrough vs hastings game tomorrow at evens with ladbrokes or skybet. Middlesbrough have had over 1.5 at half time in 6 from their last 9 games, and the golf between these two teams is huge. Ofcourse it depends on what team their put out, but if you watched the televised game between hastings and harrogate in the last round, you will have seen how poor they were. Bookies are expecting goals, over 2.5 ( for 90 minutes) is best priced at 2/5, I know most goals come in the second half of games, but i feel there could be value here. Views welcome.
Just to follow this up, Middlesbrough lineup:
Middlesbrough Steele; Parnaby, Bailey, R Williams (Capt), Halliday, Reach, Smallwood, Thomson, L Williams, Zemmama, Miller. Subs Leutwiler (gk), Burgess, Morris, Jones, Haroun, McDonald, Jutkiewicz.
Article on the BBC websit titled 'Early Middlesbrough goal can quell Hastings - Mowbray'
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20912610
- basically he wants an early goal to quash hastings, im guessing he told his players as much so they will be going for it.
As for the price, obviously i don't like 10/11 as much as evens yesterday, but if you have a betway account, oddschecker show them at odds against (21/20) and you get a free £50 bet if you open an account. I don't use them though so no idea how good they are or what the bonus requirements are.
Not pushing this bet further, just updating with some info if anyone decides to bet it.
