Assuming it stays as is, do they play Extra Time?
No sir.

Arteta appears to have bet on 2-0. He's doing everything he can to keep this scoreline.

Hmm. Upon even momentary reflection, that really was a pretty dumb question.
Maybe time to get some sleep.
Then again, the England innings has just begun against New Zealand......

Be interesting to see if Pep can stop his new team from being perennial bottlers. Enormous talent (still don't rate Ribery but that's not a universal opinion, granted) but they almost tried not to win tonight and let arsenal have a chance. Even Ar2ena1 can come back at you if you let them.

Having peanuts on my teams away victory is scant compensation for what can only be described as the worst days punting in my life.
And I missed a chance to meet The Camel, as busy listening to more bollix from Pipe tell Scu to take the inside route with Liquidator, only for him to go round the houses.
Still, looks like Hobbs may be a few light next season.
Big help needed tomorrow please chaps

Horror show on the Pope.
I was in work till 9 but I heard on the grapevine that there was white smoke early evening. I knew that made the Italian front runner Scola a big fav.
I was busy in work but I asked one of the girls in the office to keep an eye on it and let me know when the result came in.
Eventually she comes out of the office and says 'the Argentinian'. Assuming it was my boy Sandri, I dropped to one knee for a deeeeeeeep fist pump.
I was quite dismayed to hear the actual result a couple of minutes later. 'Distraught', Alex Ferguson might have said.
Anyway, glad a couple here may have been on Central and South American @ 13/2. I had enough on that myself to make sure it was slightly profitable but Sandri and Dolan would have been my big winners.
I can't wait now for the next resignation.
Edit: Oh and my uncle will be pleased as he's a Jesuit.

I got a question Adz, Pipey had only two winners in around 2 1/2 weeks from a good few fancied runners and one of those winners was 1/7. Would that be a worry in your eyes/do you know of any reasons for the quiet spell?
cheers

Not sure Bobby. For a start I have never seen Tom as a top flight jock, and he ain't riding great ATM, I don't think.
Interesting conversation with the owner of Gevrey Chambertain who asked Roger how he always manages to get his way with choices of races. He was complaining he wanted to run in potato race but Pipe publically said you can be 6th in a grade race or win the Martin Pipe race. Put him in a corner really. Also things like pipe bookin jocks for races other than the owner chosen race, are coming home to roost.
D day tomorrow for mr p.
Dynaste moved race at last min, promised rog a massive show from Close House, and also got the handicap good thing in the Byrne.
As you say, very bullish for someone not exactly knocking em in

Thanks mate, I noticed Bolero and Goulanes were friendless in the run up to their races today and already had it in my head that the stable might not be in much form. Like you say a big day 2morrow with some fancied ones, I've played one against Dynaste already but might well look to get against a few of his. Will keep the Close House info in mind tho.
cheers for that.

think all the other trainers have caught up with techniques martin pipe pioneered in the early days, they all seem to be able to ge horses hyper fit now, esp after long lay offs, also although t scu is ok jock he deff not top class hi profile that could be available.

New Zealand v England
Firdst Innings;
Cook - 21.
Compton - 100.
Trott - 121 not out.
Not sure, but I think that is a goood thing for us.

We are also on India, in their game v Australians in Disarray, but there was no play on Day One due to rain.
It was widely reeported in the media that this was Australia's best day of the Series.

Federer beat Wawrinka in 3, and Nadal beat Gulbis in three
QF is Federer v Nadal
The hope is that Federer is sharper than Nadal coming back from his injury
Two matches away from the final from Fd
--
Bingham's first match is today. Selby and Higgins are out and Bingham is into 9-1 in a place. In his quarter Maflin beat DOherty and the draw is definitely opening up. Bingham needs to win this game though to give us a realistic shot
--
Mohali rained off? Didn't even think to do the long range weather. Is a bit of a blow
--
Trott has an opportunity to score a very big one today. Normally pitches at the Basin offer movement and swing but this was the flattest one for years. Good news is that England should only have to bat once if they score 500+ in the first innings, so other batsman less likely to overtake Trott. Bad news is that its not the Anderson conditions postulated when we got on him
--
Mullins 5 winners. Has 16 horses running on the final two days of the festival
Just a round up of some of the live bets for you

Exactly what I needed, saved me a bunch of time, thanks Rich.
Trott should open up a nice lead for us today, if he continues in the same form, & as you say, a 2nd innings looks unlikely. I can't find a current "Top England Batsmen" list, though we must be in OK shape?
Presumably, given the pitch, our McCullum bet does not look quite so good now?
The Mullins bet has been terrific so far, & we have a great chance.
