Works out 80pence better per £100 to lay Williams on bf
Also the market was only 101.8% to back and 98.2% to lay, you probably would have got matched @2.62/2.64 for small money if you put it up.
The pennies add up
Now you tell me.....
Who'd have thunk? Dubai, King Nit.
PS - Where did you get those %'s from, are they somewhere on Betty, or did you work them out yourself?

Just been having a look at the latest League 1 market. With 8/9 games left of the season (10 for Sheff U), and looking at the run ins of all the teams up there, fancy a bit of a banzai bet on Bournemouth at 25/1 on betfair. Reasoning :- Games aainst top 10 teams left are
Doncaster 2 home and 2 away
Sheff Utd 2 home and 2 away
Brentford 2 home and 3 away
Swindon 2 home and 3 away
Yeovil 2 home and 1 away
Tranmere 1 home and 3 away
Bournemouth 1 home and 1 away
Bournemouths away game is at Tranmere last game of the season, and all their remaining games look very winnable. Next 4 games all against bottom teams.
Think the table is going to be very tight going into last 3 games
Really hope you're right! ...tbh I'm happy with a play off spot now
The problem is we still have two key defenders out, and although we have stopped the rot of 5 losses, with a 1-0 (penalty) win ...I'm not sure we have regained the confidence/spirit we had before.
However 25/1 does seem out of line with the majority of bookies,so maybe a small sweat is justified.

Anyone else got a view on this? ripple's view slightly discounted, he is a Cherries fan.

Its Biggle a doncaster fan, (My uncle.)
I've been looking to get something onto Bournemouth for a while and their run of form turned awful. Don't feel too qualified to help out here. Is way ool though.

Thread has Doncaster and Walsall to go up already
Not sure another, in a very tight heat frankly (play offs are going to be unfathomably difficult to pick a winner in this) is portfolio optimisation.

Betfair has even money Trott and Compton for Top English bat in the 3 test series
http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/new-zealand-v-england/test-series/new-zealand-england-tests/top-england-batsman
I'm with Hector, Trott is a 4/6 shot here
- Good chance England only bat once in this game
- One more test to come, so two innings max, at Auckland which is the best pitch in NZ, and where Trott can reasonably be expected not to fail any more than any other player is likely to
- Trott is not out, and level with Compton at the moment
So any runs he scores today makes it tougher for anyone to overtake him
Can't see how Trott is evens in this.

More canvassing opinion at this stage.
Tempted though
Downsides?
- He gets out very early today, so is at worst level with Compton
- England bat again and he fails
- He fails twice in Auckland
I would suggest all of those three happening is fairly unlikely

Morning Mr T.
Here are the current scores in the top tallish batter markets as of close of play on day 1 of the 2nd test.
Cook 143
Compton 217
Trott 218
Pietersen 30
Bell 50
Root 4
Feel free to check out my new cricket tipping site
www.battingemporium.co.uk
I would make Trott about 4/6 now.
Please let me not be the only one who clicked that link, I thought it was to our friend Mr Beevers.....
Looks to me that Trott is almost freerolling now, and a good knock today will be great for the bet.

Agree, the problem (I think....) is that there is almost no liquidity at all on Betfair for the Market.
