Where are Channing and Shallow at today?
Some incred each way action at Aintree today.
Perhaps they've both passed out with excitement.
Even I spotted the Silvanaco/First Lieutenant and the New One/Grandouet races as great e/w heats
I fear the worst for tikay's blood pressure come about midday, I must admit
If Geraghty is Henderson's number one why has he picked Tanks for that in the 16.15 and not Kid Cassidy?
I noticed this. Assumed it's owner's choice and/or AP had ridden him before?
Otherwise, choosing the 20/1 shot is odd.

Henderson and Geraghty both think Grandouet (3.05) will stay 2m4f.
I strongly disagree. There's not many horses that race as keenly as he does over 2m that get the extra half-mile. He's too much of a fizzbomb imo.
He's place layable at around 1.97, so recommend £50 lay @ that price on Betty.
If you're around while the race is on, stick up another £100 @ 1.3 IR.
This'll test your Betty skills.
That is a very firmly stated opinion, but lol @ me getting this properly on.
Hope you come through for us Chomps, we could use a boost.
I have done the first PLACE LAY, & will monitor be on Betty during the race for the 1.3 thing. Jeez, scary stuff!
We have PLACE LAID Grandouet, 3.05 Aintree, £50 @ 1.97, Betfair.

Bet 365 1/4 odds a place all races at Aintree.
Done a couple thanks
Find the New One, Grandouet, Zarkandar race very tough
any views on an e/w option in that?
Zarkander and Countrywide Flame seem obvious. I think First Lieutenant in the 2.30 is a must too. All best prices and quarter the odds first 3 at bet365 (sorry tikay)
Problem was, I had Oscar Whiskey in the first 3 too
So that makes five horses I saw in the first three, and counting.....

Just seen that Macclesfield have sacked their manager. Currently 8th in Conf, 12 points behind play offs.
Whoops. I think. Or maybe un-whoops, & it was what we needed.
yeah bet is dead, but most 50-80/1 do die
Havent won in 4 since bet was placed, needed 3 wins from them, at time though bet was value

Prophete de Guye 2.45 at Taunton. £25 e/w at 8/1. Only 4 horses in the race, and you get a fifth the first 3. I could probably have put all 4 up.
I went with corals, boylesports refused me.
It is a thin market omn betfair, but you are beating betfair on the
win
part and beating it by a margin on the place part.
Done, thanks!

No worries, especially if others can get on, I don't mind sitting out for an orbit. It'll give me time to draw breath & prepare for my first In-Running Place Lay thingie. There'll be computers, lappies, i-Pads everywhere. And fat fingers.

French breds have a terrible win record in this race.( 1 from 28)

I think you can back my two and Oscar Whisky. You beat betfair on two of them and get the great place terms too. What is there not to like?

The 2.30 looks a great each way play race with b365, so Fred cant get on. So dont mind putting it up, without the pressure of Tikay passing out
S Conti appears priced up as tho he finished a really good second in the Gold Cup when the reality is he fell 3 out, which is so so far out at Cheltenham.
Just looks a horse you have to take on at the prices.
Doesnt really matter who you pick to back ew @1/4 top3 from the next 5 in betting as b365 are best price all of them, and even matching betfair price on First Lietenant, QDLR and Giant Bolster, so you should probably be betting all of these ew with b365

I am not sure I understood chompy. Surely you can just put the place lay up at 1.3 and say you want it left in running? Surely far less likely to go wrong if you just do that?

I backed Wayward Prince each way in that race on Tuesday, runs better here, ground right, needs to find a lot on the book but was beaten by 10+ by the fav earlier in the year and beat QDLR when needed to find a lot on the book that day here earlier in the year. I've seen worse each way bets than this even tho it is a little shorter now.
