Apparently there is an injury crisis at Tranmere and they are away at Doncaster at the weekend.

The fans are moaning about their luck with injuries, they have had to bring in players who are now injured and now go away to the top of the league!

I think we are onto a good thing here regardless of form and I am very happy with EVS due to how both teams are performing and the injury crisis at Tranmere, but I think EVS is very good for Doncaster at home to Tranmere.

Just some of Tranmere's last 6 results away from home...

LLLLWD - in those 4 loses (which are most recent and draw is less recent) they have scored zero goals

Doncaster last 6 at home...

WDWDDL

I like this bet and I think EVS is very good here.

Suggest £100 on Donny @ EVS

Thanks Aaron.

I'm not sure how strongly we like this, but we have had £50 for now, & can top up later if that is the view.

We have £50 @ Evens, Wm Hill, Doncaster to beat Tranmere, Saturday.

PS to Scottty.

How are our Greyhound Derby jobbies coming along?

Hoping, assuming it is on TV tomorrow, you can run the TV Greyhound thingie again, as you did last week. Good fun that.

I mentioned earlier that Aldworth Samson is likely to go for the Scottish Derby and now it seems that Jaytee Hellcat is going to trial at Shawfield too. The Scottish Derby has been reduced to an 18 dog field with 10k up top so is likely to get a strong field this year.

Skate On sprint trialled around Wimbledon's 273m in a fast time today.

I've added Holdem Spy. Beast at Coventry who turned over Alien Planet there (c.25s) on Sunday. I backed at 125s but people should still get involved at 100s if they want to add more dogs. Very strong dog who finishes well and although usually has to come from 5th or 6th has been breaking better of late. I imagine the Derby is definitely the aim with this.

In other Derby related news, PP have went 25/1 about Farloe Warhawk. Warhawk and Ballymac Eske were 16/1 join favourites before Eske smashed everyone the other week but Warhawk doesn't seem quite fit yet and beat Eske in the Puppy Derby at Wimbledon last year, consistently pinging and scoring well.

Eden Star is the one I really want to get with. 12/1 favourite last year and performed tremendously in the opening round before withdrawing. 28/1 with PP is making me want to pull the trigger now. Has just reappeared with a nice sprint trial at Sheff and then today trialled around their 480m, recording a time of 27.87. Eske trialled too, setting a time of 27.73. Eden Star is obviously a bit behind Eske at the moment so the timings are very encouraging.

Warhawk, Star and Eske all trained by Barrie Draper, what a life.

Reminder to self.

Glory be, I think we are back up to date.

Just need a winner now, to break the losing streak.

Where are Channing and Shallow at today?

Some incred each way action at Aintree today.

Perhaps they've both passed out with excitement.

Even I spotted the Silvanaco/First Lieutenant and the New One/Grandouet races as great e/w heats

I fear the worst for tikay's blood pressure come about midday, I must admit

If Geraghty is Henderson's number one why has he picked Tanks for that in the 16.15 and not Kid Cassidy?

Henderson and Geraghty both think Grandouet (3.05) will stay 2m4f.

I strongly disagree. There's not many horses that race as keenly as he does over 2m that get the extra half-mile. He's too much of a fizzbomb imo.

He's place layable at around 1.97, so recommend £50 lay @ that price on Betty.

If you're around while the race is on, stick up another £100 @ 1.3 IR.

This'll test your Betty skills.

I think every race is great for each-way today getting 1/4 odds. I notice the big 3 who often go 1/4 all races at Aintree haven't.

Will be posting my thoughts on Betting Emporium, but actually I haven't gone too mad.

Done a couple thanks

Find the New One, Grandouet, Zarkandar race very tough

any views on an e/w option in that?

Jeez, losing my "Unrestricted" Bet365 Account was some expensive blow. If I had my time again.....

If need be, I'll get on what I can, but it is likely to be a pittance, though maybe if the Market is very liquid, I may get granted a little more.

Prophete de Guye 2.45 at Taunton.  £25 e/w at 8/1.  Only 4 horses in the race, and you get a fifth the first 3.   I could probably have put all 4 up.

I went with corals, boylesports refused me.

It is a thin market omn betfair, but you are beating betfair on the win part and beating it by a margin on the place part.

Edit.  Also available with totesport, betfred, ladbrokes and stan james.  It is no longer beating betfair (now 9.2), but still a bet.

Zarkander and Countrywide Flame seem obvious.  I think First Lieutenant in the 2.30 is a must too.  All best prices and quarter the odds first 3 at bet365 (sorry tikay)

I did like Grandouet until Mr Wheldon put it up as a place lay.

Possibly Countrywide Flame as an alternative, but I'm expecting him to turn into another Katchit - very talented but a small horse and won't take alot of NH racing imo. Although to be fair to him, he's shown no signs of deteriorating yet. But Katchit never won a race after his Champion Hurdle win and his decline was rapid after hitting its peak.
