It's an in running Asian handicap that they mean to be from the point you bet onwards. Meaning you are betting +0.5@1-0 so to win you need the score to stay same. You will lose if it finishes 1-1. Don't bet anymore on it, I agree it's badly worded etc but trust me the prices are meant as I said

To newbies like me, that is obvious - but only with hindsight! Bookies are not THAT daft, but it did look that way.

Ok, laid it all off now. I had £89 on at various prices from 2.25-2.15 and then just did £85 on Barca @ 2.1. So guaranteed a smallish profit.
Phew, profitable stupidity. The very best kind.

Betfair rules state 'Managers announced till end of season do not count for the purposes of this market'  THEN it states underneath, 'If a manager announced as a temporary replacement manages a team for 10 or more consecutive games, they will count as the manager for the purposes of this market'.

I believe that because it's not the clearest rules in the world there is still a price to back him, but with 13 games left in the season I can't see a downside to the bet.

I make it one game left... was looking fairly dodgy at one stage (Wolves have done as bad as they could have done basically), there was 2/1 available a couple of times after big defeats- 1.05/1.06 now though.

That was why I suggested prob best not for the thread as it is so hard to get the price in running.  I made it closer to 1.57
