One for Tighty, Horseplayer, Sharplea, Rubbish and anyone else who might know (I haven't got a clue):
Has the top three in any league anywhere replaced their manager at the the end of the season?
Pretty much every Real Madrid manager. Also all Chelsea managers in the Abramovich reign.
Mancini won the Scudetto with Inter before being replaced by Mourinho who won their first ever treble before being replaced by Benitez.
I'm guessing there's loads more but you have to feel for Mancini.
Sorry. I meant that United, Citeh and Chelski will all be starting next season with new managers and has that ever happened anywhere before?
Right, gotcha.
Barca and Real probably have but not recently. Maybe early 2000's. Same goes for Inter, Juve and AC who have had a lot of managers recently but I think most have overlapped. Ancelotti was at AC for a good few years so probably before him. Not sure who you would call the big three in other leagues?

Actually Klinsmann and Klopp started in July 2008. Not sure about any of the other German teams without googling it but I'm about to sit down and watch Game of Thrones so I'll leave that to you.

Is that Hot Shot Hamish Hector? Weren't they in different mags and then they merged, maybe that was just a story my mum told me so she could have the amount of comics she had to buy every week. Don't have to be the wrong side of 40 to remember these, altho getting ever closer

Daily Summary, 1700, Monday May 13th
We lost £140 since the last Report.
Over the 4 day period, our inter-day bets produced 3 winners (worth +£92) & 4 losers (also worth -£92).
So where did the £140 disappear too?
Well Mr Tight tells me that in the IPL, the following all done a Petereborough, & fell through a trap door.
IPL - Pune -£20
IPL - Shah -£100
IPL - Samuels -£20
Boo!
We still have some live IPL stuff, Mumbai to win, I believe, but it has been a bit of a disaster so far. Luckily, our County Cricket portfolio is performing way above expectations so far, so we shall rely on swings & roundabouts to rescue us.
The winners over the 4 days were a cracking boxing bet by Bazzaboy (+£50), for which he was very bullish, & which he predicted exactly.
The Milkman, who we are more used to delivering RL, RU & Cricket fayre, then chimed in with TWO Tennis bets for a £42 profit.
Well done Gentlemen.
Meanwhile, Chompy, no less, has actually given us a live sweat in The Oaks, where we have a monsta £31.50 EW on Secret Sporting Gesture @ 25/1, currently best priced 4/1. I am bound to ask the value question here - what price do WE thing that filly should be now? Very happy to hold the bet, but our thinking should, in certain circumstances, consider some saverage.
Tonight, of course, Brighton take centre stage. We have insured ourselves, so we cannot lose, but it'd be rather pleasing if Brighton won tonight, so they can move on to the
Leicester
Watford game. Incidentally, we have a whopping £300 @ 9/2 on Brighton, (before we engaged in layage) & they are now 7/4 best.

It would appear to be the case, yes.

Hot Shot Hamish was in Tiger and Scorcher.
I would like to state that I'm obviously not old enough to remember both Tiger and Scorcher individually.

Whereas Roy Race was another chap altogether.
Incredibly, unlike Channing & Kimber's dubious claims, these were AFTER my youth.

Can safely say I don't remember HotShot Hamish. Do I qualify as yoof now? That would be splendid. Cheers

The Doobs age thing.
We can safely place him as younger than Camel, who was this morning reported as a sprightly 70 year old.
I am feeling ever younger.
It seems to go, starting with the oldest, Camel, Karabiner, me, Doobs, Channing & Kimber.

Do you remember who played in goal for the rovers and what he had in common with Red-Dog?

Just googled the Sensei and I am pleased to report I am 29 days younger than he. No wonder he is so much wiser than I.

After another offer from Tighty over the weekend, he eventually found his way past my stubborn defence & I accepted his kind offer to help out more with Fred stuff.
I need to write to Mere first, & if he agrees, change some access settings on the spready, but the suggestion is that Tighty will take over the Daily Reports & Summaries.
He'll doubtless do a better job than me, & most importantly, he will be able to produce the Reports on a Daily Basis. I think it is pretty important that the Reports can be relied upon to be a daily affair.
He is, of course, just as busy as I am, if not more, but he has better time-discipline than me.
I am hoping I can use some of my freed up time to bring some new dimensions to Fred, & maybe I'l find time to do some photo-galleries too, which I used to do daily, before time-management became an issue.
We may make some other changes soon, too. It was a bit galling to miss several good bets over the weekend due to workload issues (I do all the work at SPT's, obv, Tighty just sits around), & it seems rather rude & ungracious when folks put a lot of effort into Recommends & they don't get actioned or replied to due to my absence.
Another minor problem on the horizon is my likely intensive period of work between mid-June & early July, when I may have to take one for the team next door & do that most onerous of annual gigs in Vegas. I run shocking, me. It would just not be possible for me to action stuff whilst that is in train, so I'll chat with Mere & Tighty as to the best course of action during that sojourn if indeed it arises.

How old is he? I have him at around 55. Clearly far younger than Camel.
