Do you remember who played in goal for the rovers and what he had in common with Red-Dog?
He was grossly overweight?
Talked a lot of waffle?
Often grumpy?

Danny Gabbidon, first goalscorer at 50/1 and to score anytime around 20/1.
What is the best value bet there out of curiosity? Have they taken the mickey by reducing it to 20/1 for anytime?
Value there is he has scored recently, he is our most potent threat from set pieces and goes up for all of them and the value is there as he has only scored one on about 10 in the league.

Palace centre back playing against Brighton tonight.
His goal stats are shocking in his career I think he scored his first league goal for us a couple of weeks ago in ten years or something like that. So that is why there is value.
He goes up for every set piece he nearly scored against Brighton on Friday and has been close a few times. Scored a great header against Leicester at home about 2/3 weeks ago too. He is our most potent threat in the box for set pieces atm.
We have no real other goalscorers starting for us tonight (unless Phillips does) which means we will be gambling on any set piece increasing our chances our man will score.
Nearly certain this is value. Joel Ward, our RB, who never goes up for corners is priced at 12/1 anytime and he poses no real in play shooting intent either.

Not being difficult here Mr Ant, but does that really equate to value?

If memory serves his name was Tubby.

It is value. His form for heading from set pieces since he has been back in the team for the last month is great. Plus he scored 2/3 weeks ago and is threatening of late.
For the same reason u think he should be 50/1 is why there is value here. But no probs if u don't fancy it!

Not being awkward here Ant, and we could get on, but I'm missing something I think.
You said he had scored one league goal in 10 (TEN) years. I'm trying to square that with the odds of 50/1 being value.
How many games has he played in those 10 years?
