Farloe Warhawk and Any Dak qualify. Warhawk not as impressive as I'd have hoped.

I think that LPGA Shopaholics tourney must have caught the tail-end of that tornado thingy this afternoon as there are a lot of inexplicably high scores.

World #1 Stacey Lewis shot 80(+8) and as you might have guessed Ms.Shin is struggling currently on +5 Sad

Confederations Cup betting.
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/confederations-cup/winner

Uruguay of interest @ 11/1? They have got the easier group.

Horsey?

not for me

they have been awful in world cup qualifying and look quite likely to go out

there has been a lot of talk about trying new players even though the provisional squad looks strong enough

looking forward to the tournament though

weighed in chompy

never in doubt e.t.c

Excellent news. Shame we got restricted, but still a nice win.

Remind me who tipped it?

BigAdz, apparently. Smiley

LOL, its quite funny actually cos I knew I was out tonight so I tried to second guess what it would be, and assumed that Chompy was going to follow up on Art Magic, after it won last time. So I dumped a wedge on that...and it won, then my little helper texted me the real tip, and that won too! aftertiming.

Im sure you are all so pleased for me!!

Uruguay struggling atm. At the prices I like Mexico, won the olympics and always take these sort of tournaments seriously.

Just back from the Yelling & (six)Toseland annual barn dance. Great night.

Never Forever SP was 9/2, so assume the whole £50 was wagered on George Moore's good thing?

Is there any reason we shouldn't back Libertarian for the Leger with Ladbrokes?  He looks a very likely runner, was staying on best at the end and has stamina in the pedigree.  Currently an absolute stand out with Ladbrokes at 8/1.  Best of the rest (6 bookies) is 5/1.

Suggest £30 e/w.

Cheers

Very much agree with my esteemed colleague Professor Doobs (DPMMS) here.

Nearly recced this myself earlier. The next target according to Karl Burke (banned) will be the Irish Derby. But as this is a northern colt, one would assume t'Ledger will also be on t'agenda all things being equal. T'eights with t'badblokes a very fair price.

Roffle at Buttermeup's 3/1 though.

Daily Report

Profit on the Month £77.15

Outstanding Bets £1,036.25

An amazing day yesterday, but when the dust finally settled, we had a nice litte profit of £77.15. We worked pretty hard for it though, with bets galore.

The focus of attention was the Derby, where we had a bewildering array of bets, some just sheer perceived value, some to protect our O'Brien bet, & some "Offer" related.

Dawn Affair's race was run within the first few furlongs, so that upset the jolly old applecart a bit.

When all was said & done, we covered ourselves on the Derby, & that included the now dead O'Brien bet, so that was a very satisfactory outcome. Big thanks to the portfolio planning & trimming done mainly by Chompy & Doobs. It all looked very scary to me, but despite a non-ideal winner, we still got out of it.

Elsewhere, we were pretty busy too.

hector's 3-ball golf bet performed the escape of the century for a small profit. No idea how.

Jamier-Host got the Lions Tour off to a winning start (+£60) when the Lions easily covered the first half handicap, in what one esteemed if grumpy observer described as a shambolic game.

A rare darts reversal for Snowy, when our selection got absolutely crushed.

We placed an ante-post wager on the St Leger, put up by Doobs, but which Chompy said he nearly put up.  aftertiming

Talking of Chompy, he gave us £50 on a 9/2 shot last night which got home fair & square, but unfortunately Fred got Restricted to £17.77. Bugger, that was nearly £200 of profit lost.

In the ladies Golf, Ms Shin got blown away, but the Tournament continues, so that loss will be taken tomorrow.

We still have a nice portfolio for the Greyhound Derby, down to Scott. Round 2 is next weekend.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes......

There have been some minor inaccuracies on the profits of Betfair action, where Commission had not been included in one or two results.

A Stewards Inquiry was convened last night, attended by Auditors & Actuaries - it was a very interesting meet, as you can imagine - & it has now been corrected in today's numbers.

Things go fairly quiet here now for a week or two, with a lull before the Lions Tour gets properly underway, Royal Ascot, The Open Golf, Greyhound Derby, Wimbledon, Henley Regatta, & all that summer stuff.

If there are any bets for this evening, please post them before 6pm, as I am working again tonight. Miss Fowler beckons.
