Tikay - the Lambert bet was a bit of a damp squib in the end. As soon as Rooney bounced out for training like a spring chicken on Monday, the bet was no good. I was just relieved that the goals went in early. If Rooney had been genuinely injured then I still thought the bet was OK. It perhaps would have been more sensible to wait until Monday to check whether Rooney really was injured, I guess the price probably would have still been there. First bet is a void, better than a loss I suppose!
Glad to see him do well anyway. He gave a great interview post match to our Saints media guy and welled up talking about how much it meant to him to play for England. Very refreshing.
Interestingly his line is 11.5 goals in the prem this year. I can't find one for Jay Rod but I do like that EW bet on top goalscorer.
I cant see a market on Carberry 4's and 6's in the powerplay yet either which I have been trying to keep an eye out for.

The spready says Fred made a profit with beetroot man's goal. Is this correct? It was discussed on here yesterday and decided bet would be void if the first goal was scored while he was on the bench. That's what's happened with mine at Lads.
let me know please tikay
He came on, scored the 5th goal. Is that not an e/w return?
Have just checked. The bet was settled as a winner by Ladbrokes, see.....
0000375 Single (each-way) 2 £40.00 England v Scotland First goalscorer Rickie Lambert 6/1 £40.00
Doesn't that mean you bet £40, and returned £40, so no profit?
You can't have an each-way return on a voided bet.
As soon as the first goal was scored the bet was void.

Don't think I ever went to a meeting while he was there, but I may have done. Struggle to remember stuff from last week.
Anyway, horse to come...

The race is the 1.50 Salisbury. There are many here you can put a line through.
We are left with a newcomer of Jo Hughes (Company Secretary). It's entered for the Dewhurst, I don't know much about it but it hasn't seen any money. I shall assume an educational run is expected.
Richard Hannon has two runners. Pat Dobbs is on Juan Alonso which has run before. Richard Hughes is on Crystal Nymph which hasn't. The market has been up and down on both of these. Not any realm support and I'd be surprised if either were up to much.
Tubeanie is up in trip on a stiff track which could suit, it may not stay though. It's also had a little break. I don't think so.
The favourite is Starlight Serenade. Ran 2nd in an OK race and is also up in trip which could suit. Has been very week on Betfair this morning and is priced on potential.
The one I've bet is Solo Hunter. Have to say I took 6/1. I would have taken 9/2 though. Just looks like solid form, likes the trip and a decent price as the stable is less fashionable than the opposition.
You should still get 6/1 with Hills or Corals.
At least a £50 ew bet.
