I have this morning backed two rags eway in the premiership top scorer market

Basically looking at history unless you play for a top four side you are playing for the place part of the return.

One being Jozy Altidore at 200-1 with 365/skybet. Not shone in pre season but having just watched his hat trick against Bosnia for Usa last night it re affirmed he is a different player on his Premiership return. Importantly Fletcher is still not fit for another month or so.

If Altidore makes a half way decent start then he should be a starter for the rest of the season, players priced alongside him include Mata, Kagawa and Nani.

Now im not sure what price i would make Altidore but either they are all silly prices (likely) and Jozy is about right or a spot of value.

Second bet is also 200-1 with a few firms JAY RODRIQUEZ obviously need to up his 7 goals from last season but in the last third of the season was matching Lambert in terms of goals scored per games. He just looks a steadily improving player to me the fact he scored against Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs last season leave no doubt he can do it in this league.

Thanks horsey. Gotta be worth a bit of fun at those prices.

I could not get on Jozy Altidore with Bet365, they offered me £0.15p each way, which just seemed rather silly, but I got 200/1 Jay Rodriguez with Wm Hill.

I'll keep an eye on the market to see if I can get on Jozy, best at present is 150/1. Was tempted to take that actually.

We have £5 EW @ 200/1, Wm Hill, Jay Rodriguez, Premier League Top Goalscorer.

Our man

""I've sacrificed three years of cricket and you never know when you go to a new place whether you'll get an opportunity," he said.

"But you have to win people's trust. I've been blessed with that and my team's being doing so well in all formats.

"We may have surprised everyone but it won't surprise me if we win and get promoted in the County Championship.

"After the sacrifices I'm excited to be going to finals day and want to go all the way." "

Tom Huddlestone another really good signing for Hull IMO.

I really think you should be playing at 25/1 +49 with BV

(And if you could a little on for me I'd be grateful!)

Thanks Keith.

We have had a modest investment in this.

We have £10 EW @ 25/1, BetVictor, Cardiff, +49 on Handicap.

13/5 or 5/2 Hull to be top promoted team is great too.

In before we shut the shop, our forward book is getting a bit hefty, although I do think we are right to have these "Season" bets if the value is there.

All the BB stuff comes off the Spready in a few days, glory be, so that will bring it down to more manageable levels. Then, shortly, we'll need to load up for the NFL Season......

Redarmi made a good Post a few days ago, I need to bump it, but his view was that we need to have more bets, & exploit more edges. All a bit scary to me, but we've been guided well so far.

Anyway, we have had £50 @ 13/5, BetVictor, Hull to be Top Promoted Team.

The Camel was highlighting this as a bet

"Marion Bartoli could come out of retirement according to Ladbrokes.

The bookies believe her decision to quit the sport just six weeks after winning Wimbledon is in haste and quote the Frenchwoman with odds of 8/1 come out of retirement by the end of 2015.

And should she perform a U-turn on her decision it's a 14/1 shot she adds another Grand Slam title to her tally.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Bartoli's retirement has come out of no where but we reckon we'll see her back on the courts in the near future."

Is the 14/1 stakes returned if she doesn't make a comeback?

If not that is laughable.

The 8/1 is a great bet while the 14/1 would be one the worst bets I've seen offered!

I looked all over Ladbrokes site for it at the time, but could not find it.

I've just looked again, including their "Search" facility, still can't see it.

Jessica Bridge specialises in advertising prices on twitter that have either never been available or are not longer available

Cant for the life of me remember the bet but a similar thing happened a few months ago with ladbrokes and Miss Bridge.....

Her twitter feed was full of punters suggesting the bet not only was not available it had never been available...

No reply was ever given nor to my email to customer services.

Suggest this could be the same

Morning Mr T.

A Thursday night super league game ( I will miss shopping at the Co-op) Warrington host Widnes. As we learnt last week Widnes have a very poor defence and playing away at Warrington should be no fun for them and we can expect a higher than average number of tries for Warrington. The two wingers are prohibitively priced, and as good a player as Brett Hodgson is ( Lance Todd winner) he is a tad slow nowadays. Instead I think the centre Chris Bridge is a touch of value to score a try tonight. He averages a try every other game and against weak opposition tonight I would make him shorter than the 4/5 on offer.

Suggest £20 Bridge to score anytime @ 4/5 Betvictor.

If someone was to ask me about tonight score I would struggle, what Widnes team will turn up? bad or woeful.
