There is one entry Dexter in the spreadsheet £36 at 4-1, bookie Marky147

I am not sure this is correct, the thread around that bet is very confusing

What does everyone think we have got?

See the 3 or 4 pages starting here.....

My records show...

£32 Dexter top man @ 9-2 Tikay (owe)

Owe who? Remind me please.

Pretty sure I had £60 with Marky, which I still owe him for, as we agreed to settle after.

The spready says Fred made a profit with beetroot man's goal. Is this correct? It was discussed on here yesterday and decided bet would be void if the first goal was scored while he was on the bench. That's what's happened with mine at Lads.

Tikay agreed to sell me some.  Think there was someone else involved too.  I will try and find.

Think you and Chompy carved up ~£75 between you iirc.

The Dexter Dilemma - this is what I believe is the position.

Fred DEFINITELY has £60 @ 4/1with Marky. The Spready currently says £36. Should read £60 @ 4/1 imo.

I got £108.10 in total, £60 with Marky, & another £48.10 myself.

I offered the £48.10 to Chompy & Doobs, half each. One or both of them accepted, but I can't recall which, though I could if I searched my PM's. Pretty sure I sold the entire £48.10 worth to one or both of them

Note for Doobs, Chompy, & Mere/Tighty.

Sorry to keep fiffing & faffing over this Baxter bet on Big Brother, but......

On reflection, given that Chompy tipped it up, & suggested £40, which I got on OK, then Marky kindly sold me £60 worth, & I managed another £8.10, I think I was wrong to suggest Fred has £60, & the £48.10 is chopped between the Doobie-Chompy duo. Doobs has, to be fair, been a great asset to Fred, & Chompy has been an ass-et.

So this will be the final situation. I owe Marky £60, to be settled after completion.

I currently have a total of £108.10 @ 9/2, & we will split that three ways, equally.

£36 is owned by Chompy. Settlement, either way, after completion.

£36 is owned by Doobs. Settlement as above.

£36 is owned by Fred.

I'm spite keeping the odd £0.10.

BOOKED

Found this.  Can't remember the whole story.  Think Tikay said he had too much, I said I'd take some, as did Chompy or similar.

Have just checked. The bet was settled as a winner by Ladbrokes, see.....

Bugger. I think.

Yes yes yes, that IS the correct position, & the Spready IS correct.

Sorry.

Well found Mr Doobs.

It was not because Fred had too much, but I just realised, after a day or so reflection, that it would be unfair not to spread it around like that.

Quite whether that turns out to be generous, or otherwise, & for whom, remains to be seen.....

Doesn't that mean you bet £40, and returned £40, so no profit?

I have this morning backed two rags eway in the premiership top scorer market

Basically looking at history unless you play for a top four side you are playing for the place part of the return.

One being Jozy Altidore at 200-1 with 365/skybet. Not shone in pre season but having just watched his hat trick against Bosnia for Usa last night it re affirmed he is a different player on his Premiership return. Importantly Fletcher is still not fit for another month or so.

If Altidore makes a half way decent start then he should be a starter for the rest of the season, players priced alongside him include Mata, Kagawa and Nani.

Now im not sure what price i would make Altidore but either they are all silly prices (likely) and Jozy is about right or a spot of value.

Second bet is also 200-1 with a few firms JAY RODRIQUEZ obviously need to up his 7 goals from last season but in the last third of the season was matching Lambert in terms of goals scored per games. He just looks a steadily improving player to me the fact he scored against Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs last season leave no doubt he can do it in this league.

Ahh yes, so it does - it is settled as a push, or non-runner, it would appear? (Stake Paid = £40, "Returns" = £40).
