The system at present is that I identify any bet I have placed via "
ON
", followed by clear details.
Vince then enters it on the spready. When the bet is settled, I enter the result, & profit or loss.
Where possible, I proof the bet by C & P-ing the betslip. This avoids aftertiming comments. We don't do aftertiming here.
When on my ippy, I can't C & P, so in those cases, I usually do so when back on the PC.
Vince has access to my Betfair Account, to assist me with the values of transactions. He does not have access to any other of my betting accounts, but if proof of anything were ever needed, I would give access to him. Nothing up our sleeves here Guv.

Because I am a considerable saddo with geeky stuff, I have kept record of WHERE our bets took place.
I find this list quite incredible. Back in the day I used to wander down the Betting Shop & punt on horses @ Catterick & suchlike, now we've gone global.

One more geeky fact.
blonde records date back 7 years, but this thread, only 3 months old, has already entered the "Top Ten Topics by Replies". (In 10th place). Extraordinary. It accounted for about 12.5% of all Posts on blonde in April!
Many thanks to everyone who has contributed. I appreciate all the tips, but don't forget, lots of people read the thread & follow the tips, so keep them coming please. Just the winners, though......

Is there not an online map thing you can fill in where you've placed bets for? We could aim to fill in the whole globe

We have so far punted on 21 different sports.
Football is far and away the busiest activity, with 82 bets, the next nearest being horseracing, with 20 bets.
The biggest contributor to profit is football, too, earning a net profit of £1.076.97 to date. Effectively, ALL our profit has come from football, with everything else cancelling itself out. We need more "non-football" specialists!
The Football Season is about to end
, we have about one month left, & then Euro 12, but I fancy we will struggle unless another profitable sport can be identified. Non-football experts, time to step up to the plate.
Only some football seasons. Many others around the world are still in progress - we just might have fewer experts on them on Blonde!

I had a dream.....
Well I did but not about this.
IPL cricket Decca v Pune k.o 11.30am today.
Decca are bottom of the league with only 1 win, which was last week against Pune. Most importantly though in the games I have watched them they have looked like a bunch of uninterested individuals and they have no realistic chance of getting to the playoffs. In the last 2 games they have even dropped/rested their best bowler Steyn and then their captain Sangakarra, quite bizarre really. Today Pune should have the Australian captain Michael Clarke making his debut and this should ensure a professional performance which is probably all they need to win the game.
I recommend £50 Pune to win @ 4/5 available with Corals and Sportingbet.

As of today, becasuse I said we would do this IF we made a third successive monthly profit, the notional 'roll increases to £3,000. "Notional" because the roll does not exist in reality, it is only there as a measuring & control device.
As a result, the Maximum Bet increases to £150.
Max Bets are far & few between, & will stay that way - we had, I think, only 8 in April - but if the value can be spotted, we'll do them whenever necessary.
Out of interest, how many of the 8 in April won?

I hope you were not thinking of Greece, & the Dean Morris Infallible Algorithm. What a MANTIS-style farce that was!

Only available at SportingBet now.
Pune can be laid at 1.75 on Betfair.
Very little can be predicted in the IPL - apart from Deccan losing.

Allowing for last night, where we twice did the same £50 bet twice, so counting them as one max each, I think we bet the max 11 times, & won 9 times.
I think around £1,100 of profit arose from them, though that is distorted by Doobs relly really daft bet, when we had £100 @ 5.3 on Chelsea v Barcelona. What were we thinking.....?

Wow.
That looks almost too good to be true. Which usually means it is.
Sorely tempted to bet that big, but I have trust issues with cricket on the sub-continent, so I think I'll stick to £50, unless persuaded otherwise by subsequent feedback.
We have £50 with Sporting Bet at a ludicrously (& suspiciously) high 4/5.
Thanks!

I've not been here very long so this might have been before my time - what happened there?
The Dean Morris algorithm, or the MANTIS farce?
Dean has this bizarre "method", where he predicts goal unders & overs worldwide, specialising in Greek matches. His infallible algorithm could well be described, and this is being kind, as "fallible". He does 19 fold accas & the like, too. We just tolerate him, & pretend we are listening. He also does basketball bets. See our Basketball "profits".
MANTIS made us bet on a singing ("singing" is the operative word) dude in "the Voice", a childrens TV show. In case you do not know, I should add that MANTIS is a great guy, top bloke, & I like him immensely. He is just tosh at betting.
We are just having a little fun here of course, I love them both, just as I love Davina McCall for her talent & Wooly Jumper for his transparent Company Accounts. .

Thanks for that tikay! It was the Dean Morris Algorithm I hadn't heard of - I am aware of the MANTIS/Voice debacle....!

I would expect both Sangakarra and Steyn to play today, Clarke isn't certain to start; even if he does he's not got a huge 20/20 reputation.
Deccan beat Pune last week in Pune even without Steyn
http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2012/engine/match/548341.html
.
I personally wouldn't back Pune at under evens in this match. Deccan's home pitch has a reputation for being slow-scoring, I've seen a tip to lay over 150 runs for whoever bats first, think i'll get involved on that.
Edit: Sorry, again got distracted at work and didn't post quickly enough, I see you've got the bet on now. It's got every chance of winning, good luck.
