Marvellous effort, sir.

Doobs, you do realise that this is a Tikay misclick, so it's going to be a dead heat, surely?

it looked like a dead heat from the photo i saw

Favourite won, so we backed the winner and lost.  Future trivia question.

Amusing just myself now, if we lost, we'd have won.

Too many thoughts, not enough pages in the notebook.....

How seriously would you expect Chelsea and Bayern to take the Super Cup tomorrow night?

A must win?

A nice to win?

A not really bothered?

What is the history of teams going for it, in terms of effort, in the Super Cup game? Sides put out first choice teams?

ty

beginning of a thought process was:

ref: Under 2.5 has come in the last three Bayern games, and 2 of the last three Chelsea games

ref: Mourinho/Chelsea approach is not to go for it if they lead, and approach likely to be to play on the coutner anyway...

So, we might expect Evens Under 2.5 to be a reasonable price

but I am not sure of the variables in these Super Cup games

my greatest moment fred wise so far last season

Chelsea were not off a yard last year but tbf they were probably crumbling a bit at the time

Bayern rested at least 4 at the weekend presumably in prep for this. Problem being so far on very limited evidence they dont look anything like as dynamic under Pep as last season.

Dont really like Schweinsteiger playing a holding role feels a real waste and he is not that used to the role.

Shaqiri has started the season well and 12-1 quotes are not the worse price ever if he starts again.

In summary not a betting game for me this time around, I think Bayern are more bothered by the game but neither side look particularly fluid to me yet

Wenger is a genius.

He's managed to prise a talented midfielder away from a host of other clubs and hasn't had to spend a penny in the process.

Mathieu Flamini.

Getting very embarrassing now. The amount of great players Wenger has refused to take back, and yet......

As Tikay says.....the man's a genius!

Still 11/10 to win on Sunday. And I still wouldn't oppose that. Won't be 0-0 you'd think, whatever happens

Gotta agree with Horsey here. Pep's 4-1-4-1 looks unconvincing, last season's side were superb with Schweinsteiger and Martinez both sitting deep, however both are injury doubts and someone knew could be thrust into the Busquets role.

Bayern and Chelsea look unbackable at the moment, so much so that I'd rather be on the draw or an in-play lay of whichever side scores first.

Canada currently playing Netherlands in cricket are 7-5 including five wides.

That's probably a bad thing.

Quickly, by the sound of it.

Normal ways on paper, anyway - caughts and lbw - so at least one ball was on target.

Double figures for wides now.

All those wides could prove costly.
