Bookies pricing up Mr Bolt tonight in the Diamond League 200m at...

1/33.

Out of curiosity, what price would you make him to false start?

Quickaswecan (13/8) in the first at Hamilton is probably worth a bet at £25.  My theory is that maiden races must be great for best odds guaranteed anyway.  If you back one that isn't fancied you benefit from the drift, if it is fancied the early price is great.  With the offer on top it must be big +EV.

Of course, now I have said this it is sure to start at exactly 7/4.

Well the theory seemed correct, we got 13/8 about a 5/6 chance, unfortunately we are just left with a free bet.

Looks like Chompy has put up a filly that has never won before in the next at Hamilton, the behind, never challenged stakes for mediocre 3 year olds.

Suggest £25 on Annie Gogh in the next at 3/1 with Hills mobile.

Too many thoughts, not enough pages in the notebook.....

How seriously would you expect Chelsea and Bayern to take the Super Cup tomorrow night?

A must win?

A nice to win?

A not really bothered?

What is the history of teams going for it, in terms of effort, in the Super Cup game? Sides put out first choice teams?

ty

beginning of a thought process was:

ref: Under 2.5 has come in the last three Bayern games, and 2 of the last three Chelsea games

ref: Mourinho/Chelsea approach is not to go for it if they lead, and approach likely to be to play on the coutner anyway...

So, we might expect Evens Under 2.5 to be a reasonable price

but I am not sure of the variables in these Super Cup games

Napoli have no need to be afraid of Man City, indeed wiped the floor with them 2 seasons back, I would actually be happy if they drew them. Did the thread take my advice and back AC Milan E/W at 100-1 for CL? I cant remember. The 12s available on Man City is ridiculously short price, 50-1 would be more like it imo.

Did i ever mention that Napoli won a match once???

Should be ok in the next, we have the first and second favourites, next in the betting is 33/1.  Which one did we back first and want to finish 2nd?

Wenger is a genius.

He's managed to prise a talented midfielder away from a host of other clubs and hasn't had to spend a penny in the process.

Mathieu Flamini.

Lol, no idea.

I "ticked" both bet slips, then pressed "PLACE BETS" to place both of them.

The Bet Slip (see Bet Number at end) seems to indicate we backed the jolly first.......
