Amy Weaver ‏ @amyweaverracing

I'm afraid it is lashing it down in Newmarket. #Guineas #softground The 2yos will need rubber rings when breezing tomorrow.

Definitely worth backing Doobs's pair of Frenchies.

Also, Moonstone Magic in the 1000G must be worth a tickle.

Will deal with this shortly Keith, thanks.

The prices have moved significantly from when I bet. Abtaal is down close to 9 and French fifteen is about 13.  I have them at 14s and 17s.  Also Top Offer has drifted noticeably.  Part of my original reasoning was that this horse was too short. Maybe I should just have laid that?! Anyway I think we are now in small bet territory rather than big bet.

Thanks Doobs.

We missed both prices, but I’ve had £15 on both your selections, Abtaal @ 9/1 (Blue Square) & French Fifteen @ 12/1 (Wm Hill).

Are you at Lords today & tomorrow, Rich?

Just today, funnily enough I am super sub as the person rota'd in presumably took one look at the forecast...

The Oval tomorrow for semi bish bash bosh (Leisure)

I am updating at the weekend, so its tricky to get the time to make a proper commitment of this "work"

What a life!

Enjoy today, tolerate tomorrow, & I hope to see you on Saturday, in Nottingham. Have we got the new camera lens yet?

Am I the only person to think that 4-1 for Stevens to beat O'Sullivan is far too high? Surely there is a lot of the O'Sullivan factor built into it, with the bookies knowing that people will back him at any price?  Stevens has not looked that good but the confidence of winning 11 frames in a row in the last round must put him in a fantastic frame of mind. ( pun intended)

thoughts on goals bet in newcastle v city this week? we've kept alot of clean sheets recently and city have a great defence, Cisse will be watched v.carefully by Kompany and I think Tevez will get very little change out of Colocini. Both teams will be trying very hard to initially not lose.  I'm not sure if its possible with betting but can you lay goals being scored in certain time frames? I'd expect it to be 0-0 going into the 2/3rd of the game.

I prefer Maguire -2.5 @ 4/5 myself. Looks in good touch. Carter is getting bogged down by Ebdon. If Maguire takes an early lead it could be a massacre.

O'sullivan is doing enough and ,if tested, may start to fire. Stevens has played 3 times and twice has looked like a plodder.

Not really any must have bets for me.

If you fancy a close game 50 breaks @19.5 Maguire or 20.5 in the other game is good but i'm not hopeful of over 27/28 frames in either game to be honest.

Yep, 10 or 15 seems fine to me.  The indecision must still have been there when you put the bets on? I only looked at betfair on the way in so 9/1 Abtaal looks good to me

Can think of the "Time of first goal" market on Betfair.  Just lay the time frames?

Or maybe number of first half goals etc.  I'm sure someone more qualified than me can answer this better.

most bookies have first half markets so you can just back 0-0 if you're happy with that

Sigh, more haste, less speed, I am a clot of the highest order.

As you rightly state, I was bimbling between £10 & 15, & ended up having £10 on one, & £15 the other.

I've squared things up by having another £5 on Abtaal with Paddy Power @ 9/1. (The Blue Square price has now gone).

We missed a trick really.

Should have had the entire roll on Tottenham at 11/10 and traded out of it Blatch style.
