Dont get bet 1 jakally you are saying you think its an evens chance but are recommending 5/6
Fair point.....really can't understand why I'm a losing punter...
Leave it for a bit... may still be a bet but will have a look at it.
Second one is still fine though.
!!
Thanks Neil, will have a look at the Bournemouth coup shortly.
I seem to recall you are a bit of a football corners geek. You have only had 2 Fred Bets before, & both were on Corners, in Euro12. They financed my Vegas trip actually. Or could have.....
Hmmm. Thought you had forgotten about that.
I kind of left corners alone for a while as I didn't have the time to look at them properly.
Just building some data up recently, championship specific. Still got some work to do, so there is room for a little error at the minute.
Think some books price these up a bit lazily, and don't always take into account the spread of results for specific types of teams. I'm a punting ice-cream though, so factor this in with anything I put up.
Got some figures tangled in the OP as some sites are quoting <10 and some <11, and was working on both.
All these numbers are very confusing at my age.
Corners bet is still a tiny bit of value.
We are currently offered 1.83 (5/6) and it's probably 1.75 - 1.80.
I'm having a little punt but think it's one you can take or leave.
Forgotten?
No chance. The Spready never forgets.

Luis Figo joins Twitter and follows 38 accounts. A plethora of great footballers past & present....and Fulham's Matthew Briggs.

Afternoon all.
Had one in my tracker that I thought was being lined up for a punt in Ireland.
"Ask Dad" was with the Maestro JP Murtagh and had been a bit unlucky without being pushed too hard, shall we say.
I was rather shocked to see today he is running for Michael Dods in a 1m race at Haydock, still in the ownership of Andrew Tinkler.
There has been a small amount of money for it so far. I wonder if this is an angle of some sort. hmmmmm
Not a recommend but interesting methinks

We (Bournemouth ) have 4/5 key players out injured or 50/50 for tomorrows match, so wont be at full strength
The good news is we've just smashed the transfer records and signed a 2 million South African striker! He's had a couple of matches to get going, so lets hope he starts paying it back tomorrow!

I read it that it was likely to be a similar line up to the last 2 or 3 games, with the possibility of players coming back.

Free Bet Debate
I just want to keep this all together, whilst it is up for debate.
So far, there have been 4 views expressed, as follows....
FOR
Simon Galloway
Tighty
AGAINST
Camel
Novelty Bet Specialist Chompy
For me the essence of Fred is essentially an education into how to win punting. I'm sure it means other things to other people, but, given this is what it means for me, I believe they should stay.
The fact they are still questioned at times demonstrates to me that not all have grasped their significance/value/implementation yet, and they should therefore remain as all become educated into what they mean, how to value them etc.
Once everyone stops talking about them, then they can go

With the Elders. I think all regs have grasped the concept now, and we probably all use to degrees, but a day off Fred means a lot of wheat from chaff time, and this is a large part of it, IMHO.

I can't see how there is even a debate on the free bets. They are offering a bit of value with the offer & seen as +EV & that is what this thread is all about. I don't even see how they create that much more work if I'm honest, but I'm sure someone will tell me.
There is also 5 runners I. The 4.25 at Newmarket, would probably say there is a bet there too.
