Derby v Leeds

Steve McClaren will be without injured midfielders Paul Coutts, James Bailey (both knee) and Jeff Hendrick (ankle) goalkeeper Adam Legzdins  for his first game in charge of Derby (BBC Sport).

Leeds 16/5, or better, for away win.

Unless I'm missing something here, BetFred have put up a new coupon which on first look gives far better value than the "Goals Galore" stuff we got involved in last season.

The coupon is called Any Time You Like and gives fixed odds on named players all scoring at any time for trebles and upwards.

By my calculations they are offering 10/1 the treble when the best available prices for the shortest few guys is more like 7/2-4/1.

Could someone please verify this for me, but if all seems above board I'd recommend a tidy treble on Suarez/Villa/Higuain for starters - say £50 @ 10/1 and probably do a massive perm on most of the odds on shots.

Hopefully someone can verify, but they need to hurry up!

As you know, I am not at all keen on Trebles, & bookies offer enhanced odds trebles for a reason - they get 3 shots at beating us - but I agree, the Value, if we understand it correctly, is there.

i have not had time to look but 10-1 is just to big

6.46 are the best odds treble for suarez, rooney and falcao to score anytime eslewere

baldy is offering us 10-1

my bad.

The bet value is there for both bets.

If you want a lot less risk involved go for the 8/5 for the double chance which i think is great value for 2 out of three results.

I didn't say Cray were a shoe in to win like you are hinting at Tikay, I said they are more like a 2/1-6/4 jobbie so showed great enthusiasm for people to get the bet on as 9/2 is way out of that.

On the Double chance front if you want a comparison, every 2/1-6/4 team to win at home goes in at about 1/2-1/3 in the double chance market, so by my predictions Cray should be 1/2-1/3 in the double chance market but you are getting offered 8/5.

The double chance being a much more appetising bet here as it is a lot safer. Hopefully I have made myself clear, apologies if not!

And the reason for me mentioning the double chance bet at all is only today realising there was a market for it!

Horse Racing

£25 @ 9/4, Wm Hill, Caspar Netscher, 2.50 Redcar. £25 FREE BET if 2nd.

£10 EW @ 28/1, BetVictor, Anaconda, 3.50 Ascot.

Silly Cricket

£24 @ 13/8, BetFred, Trinidad & Tobago to beat the Little Mumbai Indians

The cricket starts at 2.30pm, UK, I think.

Football

£5 @ 12/1, BetVictor, Andy Reid, FGS, Brighton v Nott'm Forest

Caspar is next up, & is 7/4 tops now.

infact there are probably 3 or 4 combos on that list which look good bets

i would be surprised if baldy kept the 10-1 after a few weeks much like the goals galore the odds look more than generous at the onset

Presumably the new manager effect, & the amazing comeback in the week, are what make Derby so short?

Running out of time here, everything has come in late, but I'll have a look.

Bromley and Cray groundshare, and like eachother. It appears as if Bromley have gifted Cray a pretty decent striker for todays game that I didn't expect to play. Warren Mcbean, used to bang in the goals for Bromley at a higher level but is there today for Cray after signing dual registration papers, to be allowed to play at both clubs. I believe he is coming back from injury and Cray are being used to get him back to match fitness.

Definite plus.

I just loathe doing trebles, so we've just had £10, thanks.

Too late now, but I do hope you scoop the lot Ant, & that Palace beat Liverpool.

Agreed, I just checked the 16/5 vs the 4.4 on Betfair at the time.  Anyway must get on.  Free bet on Miss France??
