With no racing on been a day of study....

Another golf bet I fancy, this time on the more obscure Challenge Tour Final.

Played by the top 45 players, one stands out after a massive result in the CIMB Classic that finished yesterday.

He finished 16th, a shot ahead of the likes of Fowler and Mickleson, and played solid all week, and if he had sunk a putt or two would have been Top 10. This year has been great for following in form players, and this big drop in grade will feel like a walk in the park after mixing it in the big league

Easily one of the best players on the Challenge Tour he looks a very backable 20-1 with Paddy P.

As you can only get on with PP, lets make it  £7.50 ew, in the hope you dont get maxed

Thanks Adz.

Remind me of this chap's name again?......

LOL. Sorry. Shiv Kapur

Fantastic tip!....thanks alot Adz.

Thoughts on Under 2.5 goals in Everton-Spurs? 10/11.

Spurs stingy at the back and (yes, yes, one game aside...) look good away. Everton under Martinez tough to beat. Surely more likely the game goes under than over?

I like this but more because I don't think Spurs are that good up front.  They have scored 9 goals all season but three of them have been penalties which is more than they had all of last year and makes their goalscoring woes somewhat hidden.  At the moment up front Spurs are playing like a relegation team and they haven't particularly had a tough schedule either.  I wouldn't like it if Defoe started though.

Thanks Stu.

Defoe is on the bench, so a dabble seems to be in order, though I'm not sure Posh Bloke will enjoy that description of Spurs. Wink

"Playing like a relegation team". Standard.

Chiriches v Lukaku will be a test to the Unders. Paulinho starts.

Chricihes is very solid Tal (cue poor performance)

Have seen a lot of negative press towards Spurs the last few weeks but they appear to be sitting in a nice position considering "how bad" they have been?

Doing enough at the moment with a lot of the summer signings only to improve is an excellent position to be in.

Thanks Tal. Relegation team, eh?......

We are on board, we seem to be loading up a goodly bit today, that's over £200 already, with the NFL still to come.

Thanks to the Adz, Tighty and their twinkle-toed spiders, we are playing with the bookies' money, though Wink

@horsey, Chiriches is like a few of the new recruits that aren't quite at the races yet. Looked a liability in the Carling Cup game against Aston Villa B. I'm sure come February the thread will be united behind the lads and how impressive they look now they've gelled together. I just hope they're able to sort it in time to save us from the drop.

FWIW in the Everton game I was quite keen on BTTS and as such I like thef overs better than unders on the basis that I see a win more often than a draw in this game.

I have had a tickle on Everton 2-1 and 3-1 also. But main bet is BTTS. Will take 1-1 and we all win.
