I was gutted when I first saw it. Been moping about in work thinking there's only a handful of people I'd actually want to meet and Noel would be second behind Dubai and closely followed by The Camel and Chompy. I guess I have a good chance of meeting two or three of those? Mr Channing would obviously be on the list had I not met him at an IPO bash in Dublin. I also chalked up meeting the legend that is Padraig Parkinson on that trip. Happy days.

Mr Rubbish,

If I may make so bold, that is a most eclectic list. Chompy?

Are you sure?

A solid list of legends, wpwp. You should also aspire to meet nirvana imo.

Money Back if Quevega Wins

Tuesday 11th March 2014

Place a bet on any horse in the David Nicholson Mares Hurdle (OLBG) and if Quevega wins we will refund all losing stakes as a free bet up to £25.

Betfred.

Any good?

Very good Smiley

So Fred should (try to) bet on what horse?

PS - Thanks to Lisa, & to exstream.

We should wait until nearer the time for better odds. Odds very poor at the moment.

So it isn't very good then?

Hi Doobs,

It is a very good offer that will probably be best done on the day as I am sure you know. Smiley

Peace and good wishes

Lisa

I'm not sure it's that eclectic as three of them are professional punters who post on here. Tal would have been on the list had it not been for Sundays outrageous post about dresses and suchlike. I can still remember the Sex Pistols on the Reg Grundy show and the furore that caused. Some guy was in the papers the next day saying how he was so shocked he put his foot through his TV. I was the same on Sunday reading Tal's post. My monitor took an hell of a beating.

I of course would have added you to the list had we not already have met. You wont remember, I'm not that noteworthy. I've met Tighty as well but who hasn't? I guess Hector should be on my list. I have a funny feeling he's probably played Rugby against some of my mates if he played any Anglo Welsh matches?

CHELTENHAM OFFER

Wm Hill have announced that their regular "MONEY BACK AS FREE BET IF 2nd" offer will apply to ALL races at Cheltenham next week.*

* Mobile only, of course, and presumably usual T & C's apply as to minimum number of runners per race.

I am not an Offer expert, but this looks a terrific offer on the face if it, assuming their prices are reasonable.

Is there a page somewhere on the internet where someone can find all offers from bookies for Cheltenham?

Yes it's a great offer. It's like all our Saturdays have come at once. This offer works best for low priced horses so we won't be able to do all the races but I'm sure we'll get a fair few on.

Picture a taller, more adroit, posher Ed Gascoigne, about the same age and universal experience as Karabiner and with the razor sharp, manly wit and charm of BigAdz.

I'm basically nothing like that.

Our fave Irish bookie has an NBA enhanced bet tonight, a four timer on Miami, Indiana, San Antonio and LA Clippers at 11/2, best price elsewhere is 5.93 at youwin or 5.89 at a proper bookie, Coral. Not a bad offer, all 4 would be expected to win, Clips got toughest game but they should beat Phoenix. Worth a lil tiddle for teeks, 10 or 15 quid

Not yet George, but in the next day or two, I'll summarise them all, & I'll also list Fred's current portfolio for Cheltenham, so we all know what we've got.

But combined best prices over all bookies is pretty much 11/2?

I can't see this on their Site, Jeff - where exactly is it listed?

Power Play, on the home page, scroll down a little. First game 10 past midnight, do it on your mobile, very easy, don't have to add them like it's an accumulator. Doobs, best price is 5.93, 5.89 at a proper bookie. Is that 11/2?
EDIT: see what u mean Doobs, yeh if u put 4 inidiv bets on at best price with other bookies comes to 11/2 - after consulting oddschecker and betcalc accumulator calculator...half an hour I won't get back!
