Is there any way to see what bets we have running at the moment? Just clicked on the spreadshits on page 1 and they're empty.
How much did we have on the Cheltenham ground to be good? Just wondering if we're in a spot to cover?
While I was channel-hopping last night, I stumbled across Bill Maynard saying that the weather on St Swithens' Day is what we'll get for the next 40 days.
In that case (and looking at the met office forecast) we're in with a good shout. The slightest trace of soft in the ground, though, and Claisse will snap off the chance to call it good to soft.

CHELTENHAM - Jump (Updated:04/03/2014 at 16:35:12)
Going
Soft
(GoingStick: 5.9 on Tuesday at 14:00)
Weather
Turning predominantly dry with no more than 3 to 4mm of rain over the next seven days.
It'sa straight flip now, as the betting suggests. Sid's 4/6 about good to soft is fine. Rec £60 @ that price just to (probably) ensure a profit on the market.

Bastard.
Channel-hopping, my arse. Bet you watched EVERY minute of the whole damn 5 hour-a-thon.
I get that stuff through, you know. St Swithens day is in July......

Sid is now 8/15!
I can get on with Wm Hill, currently 8/13. That'll have to do, I guess? (£65 @ 8/13?)

We want to take 8/13 on a "straight flip"? Getting my coins polished right now, think I am in business.

Joking aside, think 8/13 isn't so bad, always thought he would try for good to soft day 1. Gives scope to firm up during meeting. You start genuine good then ground could be too firm for the powers that be on Friday.
Not greening out here though.

Calm down Prof Doobs! Bad wordage from me. What I meaned to say is we're down to two possible outcomes and 4/6 is fine for a cover on good to soft. 8/13 OK also.

Ahh, I see the resemblance now.....I'll shave it off before Thursday's CHELTENHAM BETTING PREVIEW SHOW.
Seriously, Sid is now 8/15, but I could save @ 8/13 with Wm Hill.

Yup, £65 @ 8/13 sounds pleasing enough.

We can't control the weather, or the fact that the CoC might want Good to Soft, for his own ends.
To me, it makes perfect sense here to lock up a freeroll.
£65 @ 8/13, Wm Hill, Going Good to Soft for the Opening Race @ Cheltenham, Chompy.

If it is "Good, Good to soft in places", do we win on the
Good
part and vice versa?

Crikey, that's a good point.

You can get 2-1 about a team in a coin flip on Sunday at 3pm, still
Highly unlikely to be more than a score either way (handicap is +/-5)
Jonathan Davies back, Alun Wyn-Jones back
12 Lions versus 2 Lions
10 Lions that played the Australia Tests
Halfpenny to kick the points, North and Cuthbert to occupy the English back row
http://www.oddschecker.com/rugby-union/six-nations/england-v-wales/winner
Recommend again
£40 Wales at 2-1 Bald
and
Saver £5 Draw 25-1 Bald
I make it that close
