Brocklebank is reliant on a furious pace and is the sort I'd always rather back win only, as he'll always need some luck coming from the back round there. you knows he's 4lb out of the handicap up in class Adzy?

I may not be a paid racing Journo Chomps, but I still do my homework, thanks for the lesson though teach  Wink

Yes mate. I think that was why he was such a big price. I think based on his last few runs he has finished like a train, and crying out for the mile. Coupled with the fact he was smashed up from tens into 11/4 during the week I assume they must have him in great nick at home.

He has also won both times he has been stepped up to a mile here. I he has plenty more than 4lbs improvement in him. If he won today at this sort of price I would be annoyed I had let him pass Fred by.

Not a bother if he gets rebuffed, not a bother at all. I fear this will be a long day either regardless!

Shame, another couple of yards and we get paid.

Oh we get paid anyway, cos we did it ew..... Wink

Afternoon Mr T.

I think that Huddersfield will be too strong for the CESM's today. Over half of the French team are unavailable and they are down to the bare bones. They may be able to defend for the first half but I expect Huddersfield to win the 2nd half by more than 6 points.

£20 Huddersfield -6 points @ evens with Ladbrokes.

Ths link may take you to the correct page.

On...happy for fred to have £20 if needed.

Yes please, boss is not around so I will say yes for him (sort it out later if he says no!)

please confirm

no problem

Thanks Nick, appreciated.

One fell asleep.....

Thanks to hector, too, and to Tighty for intervening.

Good luck us. We must be due a win. Right? Right?

Slightly Adzy moment...

Had RRR in the 2.55 newb today and had Brock in a double. Just wandered into an establishment to watch the 5pm and had the forecast. Quite a big swing between Brock winning and coming second, tho. Vegas or Blackpool.

Why oh why do jockeys ride from the back at lingfield and leave it til late to come through traffic?

I want some advice from the more experienced bettors of the Fred.

Looking at the United v City match on Tuesday I have found an interesting scenario.

Comparing the early odds from some UK bookies and a Greek bookmaker I have found the following potential opportunity. The Greek bookie has City to win at 2.12 when most UK bookies have it 2.10ish with best price being 2.20 at the moment. The interesting thing is the Asian Handicap of City -1 is priced at 3 in 365 at the moment when the Greek bookie has it at 3.90.

So my question is having in mind that all bookies have almost the same odds for the away win shouldn't the Greek bookmaker have lower odds for the City -1? Is this a potential opportunity?

You need to find the best odds you can for United +1 and the Draw or United AH +1.5 to know if it is an arb

United +1 is at 1.38 with 365 and at 1.70 with the Greek bookie.

United +1.5 is at 1.25 with 365. Greek bookie doesn't do halves.

Best price for the draw is at 3.40 with both UK bookies and the Greek one.

How can I find out if its an arb or not?

Hmmm the odds with the greek bookie look all out of sync and you offer an arb in themselves (1.7 vs 3.9) for an 18.39% arb! This is either a palp or  are their rules regarding asian handicaps aren't the same as other bookies. In other words don't touch either side imo, as the best outcome is getting your money back.

A former dirty arber.
