I am away from around 11am for the rest of the day, just so you know that any recommendations aren't being ignored and will be dealt with on my return

Morning Mr T2.

Some interesting tennis today. My strongest fancy is for our old friend Foggy to lose his match against Tim Puetz. I wouldn't contemplate Foggy's defeat if this was played 3 months ago on clay. However on grass his serve is not nearly good enough, and Puetz has a decent serve, and can volley.

If this comes in, and I am back home, I may suggest a bet on my 2nd choice of Sam Querrey to beat Tsonga.

Suggest £20 Puetz @ 3-1 with betfair sportsbook.

I do like that picture of the jubilant Sri Lankans. I would like to see one taken at the same time of Sonour and her husbands.

BetVictor make a 22-24 game ban their 4/1 favourite

Best price now to get a ban appears to be 1/10

Why is 22-24 4/1 and over 10/1? Must be a precedent or rule somewhere for that specific number??

exactly my thoughts given 22-24 doesn't include any 'round' numbers like 20/25 or 30 seems a very specific range to make jolly.  Assuming 24 is the max punishment as it's pretty impossible they are going to issue a 22 or (especially) exactly 23 game ban.  24 must be the key number here.  25 or more is 12/1 with VC.  What is the maximum ban that can be thrown at him given this happening on international duty?

how can you get banned for 2 years then as that would massively exceed 24 games surely?

its either/or. 2 years would supercede, irrespective of number of games in that 2 year period

might just be international game ban, as well. there would be way less than 24 international games in 2 years

Yes, that would have to be just for international games.

We are assuming FIFA won't ban globally if we take that bet.

Don't know what they're drinking at Sid James

Gone 19/4 Argentina, who are 13/8 best with Coral make final. If we can is suggest we back at 19/4ew and lay back the win part if we are that inclined.

Have I missed something in the news literally just woke up? Messi rumours?
