Not sure if any punting angle to be had from this, but Watford have re-signed Matej Vydra this morning.

Markets still unchanged/stale.  25-1 to win league, 8-1 promotion.

Watford have already signed Gomes in goal, and Dyer on the wing as well as Vydra.  Deeney looks like staying.  Looks strong on paper.

Not sure after last season's debacle but 8-1 for promotion is surely over-priced?

Is there a top half market?

Edit. Joking aside 8/1 looks quite big to me.  You think the manager can improve them from last year?

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

I'd say the manager is the unknown question mark.  Seems very passionate, but he struggled badly to motivate the players once playoffs were not possible (the squad has a significant number of big time charlies).

But on the positive there seems little doubt that the owners are going to provide him with a good playing squad.

I'm tempted to say once Sannino has a full pre-season the team will be a lot fitter and used to his ways, but there is no guarantee.  Reflected in the 8-1 I guess.

We also are very advanced in signing Toszer the hungarian midfielder who was here last year and is a class act, and also Paredes the full back who played for Ecuador in the world cup I am told.  Paredes looks a fun player - fast, direct wing back who doesn't seem especially worried about defending!

http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/world-cup/luis-suarez-could-exploit-loophole-in-disciplinary-process-to-play-for-uruguay-against-colombia-30386554.html

starting to think Uruguay have drifted to a fair price to win,

No doubt Colombia have looked good so far but Cavani and Suarez running at their two 35+ centre backs will be a very different test

Afternoon Mr T2.

Suggest £20 Querrey @ 11/8 Coral.

9 all in the 5th and Querrey serving 1st. It really is a flip.
