sorry, up against it a bit with stuff

http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/mens/kevin-anderson-v-fabio-fognini/winner

just started

i can get 3.85 fognini betfair Dung

£20 or so?

Hi Tighty

Badbeat seems to like it also, so yes I think we can have £20.  Don't think they have kicked off yet unless the wimbledon scoreboard is up to tricks so we can still get on.

Early one for next season's Championship: winner    ....     Watford 18/1, to be promoted 13/2 @ B365.

Vydra's just been re-signed and along with: Ex-Spur's goalie Heurelho Gomes, former Premier League defenders Gabriel Tamas and Craig Cathcart plus Lloyd Dyer from Tighty's Champs it looks like they're going for it.

Also, there's rumours that Don Pozzo's 'gonna make you an offer you can't refuse' to Roberto Di Matteo, with present incumbent Sannino being installed as the new Udinese manager.

Thoughts Dung?

Hi Luther.  I'm bullish player wise but I think Sannino still is a question mark.  As far as I know Udinese have appointed (or are close to appointing) someone, so I think Sannino will be the boss for the upcoming season.

Obviously the thing that puts me off is how utterly certain I was that we were going to win the league last season, after recruiting Angella, Faraoni and Fabbrini!

Think we should be backing Argies ew at 4/1 with most firms.  1/2 odds 1,2.  So we are getting 2/1 the place and its trading under 6/4 on bf. We have to give up a bit of ev on the win part which is 5.4 on the exchange but we are getting more +ev from the place than we lose on the win.  Thoughts welcome.  It's getting that time when the ew terms are about to change to 1/3 1,2  and the draw is heavily softer towards the argies side so this looks a solid ew bet.

stupid question time

fognini is nuts. fruitcake. unreliable

but leading anderson 2-1 in sets

he is trading at 1.5, and we backed at 4.0 -£20

the betfair cash out option currently offers £55+

i assume this must be very ice-creamy, such is the amount they advertise cash out options etc etc

whats the "theory" behind why it is bad to do so? presumably the cash out offer has a margin built in for betfair to provide it?

why wouldn't you just do the lay back yourself and save the margin?

in which case, why do people use cash out buttons?

They don't understand the concept of laying and/or the maths behind it and betfair developed software to make it simple by clicking one button for them to do it with no thought and charge them a premium for the convenience.  Extrabet (the old ig index fixed odds arm which is no longer did exactly the same thing 8 years ago) so it's not a new concept.

No idea why extrabet closed as it was for years the only fixed odds firm i routinely lost to as an arber over a big sample.

The mug double 'to qualfiy' on today's 2 WC games looks value

Brazil 3/10 and Col 4/7 both with coral.  Both are shorter on the machine in tight markets with good volume.  Recommend £50 double.

these games are tomorrow

i thought we were coming to the conclusion that colombia were over-popular, and uruguay might be value with sentiment so bad post suarez?

We have had a bit of a result in Wozniacki's quarter though

Li Na the number 2 seed has just been dumped out by Strychova, who plays Wozniacki in the last 16 next

In this quarter the winners of Kvitova v Venus and Peng v Davis (both unseeded) play

We have 9-1 Wozniacki to win this quarter

she is currently 2/1 second favourite behind Kvitova
