not sure if fred can get on with betbright.  They are 8/1 colom for the top SA team and i have laid plenty at 7.4 and 8.0 on bf today to what looks like a bot who keeps feeding another monkey in at 8.0 as soon as its taken.  Someone is very keen to get on who looks professional.  Colom are a 7/2 shot to get to the semis which if they do they will only have to outlast the Argies who are in the other half of the draw which is prob why the 8/1 is value as it has dead heat potential if they get to semis and argies bust in semis as well.

Recommend having a lump on at betbright and laying some shorter to get a bigger price than 8/1 effectively to whatever stakes we are comfortable with.

Also recommend £30 ew on federer 6/1 coral and Nadal 5/1 hills (both 1/2 1,2) the place terms should be 1/3 1,2 now given the make up of the market.  Both win prices are right on or below bf and the place parts are both decent value.

Ok worth signing up when the boss gets back.  They laid a sizeable bet on this to a new account.

I like a bet in the Women's Third Round tomorrow at Wimbledon.

Sabine Lisicki@7/4 (gen 13/8+2.78 on bf) against Ana Ivanovic.

In the betfair outright market, Lisicki is 24 on betfair and Ivanovic is 30.

Yet Lisicki is a sizeable dog in this match.

Apparently their h2h is only 1-0 to Ivanovic so that's a fairly useless stat.

It could of course also mean that Ivanovic is slight value@30's in the outright.

Personaly I favor the idea that Lisicki is value here and last year's finalist looks a decent bet to me.

She's seems the opposite of her more glam opponent, all guts and glory, with Ivanovic all talent and mental weakness.

I'd say to have about £40 on it if you want to bet it.

7/4 is betway only, account is empty

i am trying to match 2.74 on betfair, tba

Think we should be backing Argies ew at 4/1 with most firms.  1/2 odds 1,2.  So we are getting 2/1 the place and its trading under 6/4 on bf. We have to give up a bit of ev on the win part which is 5.4 on the exchange but we are getting more +ev from the place than we lose on the win.  Thoughts welcome.  It's getting that time when the ew terms are about to change to 1/3 1,2  and the draw is heavily softer towards the argies side so this looks a solid ew bet.

Cheers for that.

Isner plays Lopez tomorrow in the third round

Lopez who had a match point to win Queens, hasn't lost a set so far, 4 of his 6 sets at Wimbledon this year have been tie-breaks. in great grass court form and a fav to beat Isner despite being 15 spots lower in the seedings

Isner is a huge serving (comparatively poorly returning) player, who also hasn't lost a set and two of his six sets have gone to breakers

At 13 games a set maximum the game make up for this game should comfortably exceed 40, could possibly go 5 sets. waiting for a betfair market to form to see how high the quote is for overs/unders

not sure first set tie break should be an underdog http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/mens/feliciano-lopez-v-john-isner/first-set-tie-break

think dutching 3-2 either way might be profitable too 11/2 and 5/1, Lopez 3-2 the lower price

or 5 sets here http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/mens/feliciano-lopez-v-john-isner/total-sets

am not a regular tennis bettor, so perhaps someone more experienced can run an eye over these prices for this type of game for me
