Was thinking Jungle Cat 3.15 York was worth backing e/w at 8-1 with one of the firms offering qtr 3 places. Drawn well and don't think can rule out for win purposes, 10 runners including a 125-1 shot, more a maths type bet than a strong fancy.

what sort of size?

pretty hot race isn't it?

7 of the 10 with proper chances?

I guess I thought it was quite marginal - maybe not the best candidate for Fred, my bet size fwiw was 1% of roll. Really rather leave it if you think the race isn't ideal.

i don't know Simon, just thinking out loud..just a generalist when it comes to racing

1% of roll is around £60 and it doesn't feel that strong (in monetary terms)

we'll have a small tickle

please post more tips anyway!

        Bet Type: Single
       York [15:15] 6f Group 2 Stakes
       Jungle Cat 8/1
       Each Way: 1/4 1 - 3
      2 bets @  15.00 GBP

    Total Cost: 30.00 GBP

Well, you seem to do pretty good when you dip your toe in the water...

Celtic make 10 changes from midweek against ICT today at 12.30.
ICT have started well and unbeaten in 3 league games so far.

£20 ICT @ 6/1

i can't get 6/1 its with a non bookie

5-1 best if you want?

(this will be the 5th time this season that a celtic fan opposes his team, and we are not yet at the end of August!)

leeds are twos on, and should win

they are very potent across the backline, and tries likely from wingers/centres

perm ryan hall 7-1/tom briscoe 11-1/joel moon 14-1 first try scorer and watch them throw it wide

Wouldn't take anything less than 5/1

Celtic are improving with each game but defence and midfield are particularly weak today with the  changes made. I fancy there will be goals but have no time to look at the sub markets.

Take it, I meant to rec last night at 13/2 with Betfair but got caught up with something else.

Playing a back 4 that have to the best of my knowledge never played together.  Midfield looks quite light.

I'd back both teams to score @ 10/11 as well (£0 betfair)  Celtic will concede.  I think there is a goal there for us as well as there is some decent creativity on show just too light in defence and midfield.

Would agree with this 9/2 is proably about the right price.  Inverness is traditionally a tough place for Celtic to go over the years.

Also agree about goals hence why I suggested that BTTS was a bet at 10/11 I'd make this closer to 8/11 given the weakness in Celtic defence/midfield.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-2/cambridge-utd-v-morecambe/winner

Why are Morecombe 29/10 (boy-le)  3 from 3 wins, Top and scoring with a 7-2 GD

Cambridge, 1-1-1 and let in 2 goals in each of the last 2 games.

a good bet for a tenner?

because they are away from home.  If they were at home in the same game they would be 6/5.

yes, bu, for example Burton are also away, also 3-0-0, and way to Newport, who are worse than Cambridge, but not as long as Morecombe.

Just had this via pm for the northern eggchasing: tyvm for taking the time and effort.  I will post it as it seems reasonably thought out and has been done at 7/1 for decent money on bf so the 9/1 at stanjames seems worth an interest for those who can get on.

Hi mate, saw your post but dont feel comfortable posting it in TFT as its not mine, i was told by a very shrewd rugby punter to have my lot on jamie peacock man of the match (9/1 at stands 8/1 elsewhere as low as 5 betvictor).  He says if leeds win hes highly likely to get man of the match so its 9/1 about a 2/5 poke. His reasoning for him getting man of the match is that he has never won at wembley, the media cream all over him, always gives a solid performance and will play the full 80 minutes.  Wouldn't have said anything but as you are going to the game it could be a decent sweat... up to you if you back it or not, just passing on info i've been given as you're going to the game.
