The thing the really annoyed me yesterday (if we are to believe the reasonings) that both Cleverely and Borini, despite being told no place here for you, despite both having offers to sign (Villa/qpr) neither agreed personal terms!!

So now they are stuck as squad players, at best, and don't seem to care.  Cant call themselves footballers imo now.

I'd rather (with the knkwledge I'm very well off thanking you) to take a cut just to get back playing.

I also must be getting old, as that really bugged me

Mcgoldrick is out of contract in the summer so from this point on sale value plummets. Ipswich turned down 8m, we walked away. Nothing more than a routine championship player. Astonishing to turn it down really

Not sure what Pearon was thinking with the offer to be honest.  If he's going to offer £8m for McGoldrick, should have offered £12 million for Deeney early in the summer which would probably have been successful.

As you say, the most baffling thing about the whole saga is Ipswich turning it down!

He's got far more right than he has got wrong, but the McGoldrick one was a head scratcher

in the end, our links with the Man U academy worked well again. Nick Powell (season long loan with a view to permanent) and Tom Lawrence (£1m 4 year deal) are both low risk high upside deals, neither count against the 25 man squad this season and are far more what a club like Leicester should be doing.

I really rate Pearon, but as you say this one was odd.

Surprised Man Utd have let Powell go.  Bought Leicester points at 40 at the start of the season, and it feels a decent bet after the first few performances.

I liked Hull's deadline business.   Bruce has really beefed up his squad.

Was just about to post a suggestion/opinion for them to go down!

The signings are good on paper, but im not sure Ben Arfa, Hernandez (renowned party boy should get on well with Hatem) and to a lesser extent Ramirez will fit into the tight team spirit they seem to have there.

It ain't cheap to live in Sandbanks.  Harry needs a few more brown envelopes from these dodgy agents to finish off the mortgage before he retires and to pay for Rosie's pedigree chum!
