The tennis is starting it's indoor season and I think there is a bet to be had in the Russian tournament this week. Cilic and Raonic are the favourites at 2-1 ish and are no value at all. Next in the betting are Gulbis and Youhzny. I have Gulbis towards the top of my not to be trusted list, except on clay, and Youhzny has problems playing well 2 weeks in a row so I can't have either of them.

The player I think is value is Bautista-Agut at 25-1.

Suggest £10 e/w @ 25-1 with Ladbrokes.

I was AWOL last night, & Tighty seems to be AWOL this morning, doubtless up all night watching NFL, or doing his oh-so lengthy Monday Report. I'll probably get a mention for my splendid Russian GP "NO SAFETY CAR" recommend.

Two winners

- The first one was £22 and I need to make sure I write more than one line on it, which is a challenge as i still don't understand it, but I'm almost there so £22 on Royal Club in the semi-final of the e-sports LOL championship. Now to find a picture, at this rate i'll be into three lines. Royal Club are Chinese I think, and most of the other top clubs are Korean. Looks as if these are our plucky lads.

Here we go, buckle in

Three teams are currently tied for the best record in the NFL at 5-1. We have positions on two of them, the San Diego Chargers and the Philadelphia Eagles. Not the Dallas Cowboys though

So in no particular order

Finally, in game six Shady McCoy came to the party and gained 154 combined yards. He'll have a tough job overtaking DeMarco Murray of the Dallas Cowboys though. Murray is now on pace for 424 carries (NFL record), 2,093 rushing yards & 14 rushing TDs after his sixth consecutive 100 yard rushing game to start the season yesterday.



The San Diego Chargers survived a scare from the winless Oakland Raiders to go 5-1. The 13-2 we have on them to win the division has real chances, and will depend on two games agains the Broncos

The Green Bay Packers were beginning to wilt in the Florida heat against the Dolphins, down 24-20 with not long to go. Miami had the ball, and Green Bay had to use their time outs and try to get the ball back. Miami then made a colossal mistake, one more first down wins them the game but very conservatively they ran it again to take more time off the clock and punted the ball back to Green Bay

In comes Aaron Rodgers, with a swagger and proceeds to march the team down the field. 16 seconds left, and they have sixteen yards to go he executes the most delicious fake spike (the spike stops the clock, and is normally expected here. It certainly was by the defense), and succeeds in another 10 yard reception. Six seconds to go, six yards to get. One play to settle the game....

The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the finest defenses in the NFL. Yesterday's result wasn't too helpful to out hopes of them conceding the least pionts this season

In that game our NFL Offensive Rookie of the year bet Kelvin Benjamin scored another touchdown. 20-1 is looking fabulous. 100 yards clear of any other rookie receiver and 4 touchdowns already. Not many rookie quarterbacks and running backas tearing the league up either

I mentioned the Pittsburgh Steelers above. They went 3-3 and bottom of a tight NFC North losing at Cleveland. Pittsburgh are an incredibly frustrating team. Ill-disciplined, poor strategy and poor execution being three major problems

Our top passing yards bet Matt Ryan had a frustrating day on his frustrating team the Atlanta Falcons. Hs 245 yards yesterday were enough though to keep him second for the season so far behind Andrew Luck. We have 16-1 each way
