A decent night of domestic boxing tonight. Pity it's spread across three cards.

I'm not sure why Vusi Malinga is the dog against Gavin McDonnell. Gavin like Matthew Hatton doesn't have the talent of his brother. He struggled to a draw against Wale who is very average and Leigh Wood schooled him early on before his tank emptied rapidly. Malinga has lost every time he has stepped up to world level but this is a few divisions before that. Even accounting for the Matchroom factor I can't have Malinga as the dog here. Recommend £50 at 11/10 and £10 on Malinga KO at 5/1 (BV)

Stalker has struggled as a pro and I think he will come a cropper tonight against a young, hungry opponent with decent technical ability and a significant edge in power. Recommend £20 Catterall at 5/4 (Lads, Coral, Fred)

In recent interviews Tommy Coyle seems to think he is the reincarnation of Arturo Gatti after winning the 8 knockdown classic with Brizuela. The problem is Brizuela was a light punching blown up super-feather and getting put down 4 times is nothin to be proud of. Katsidis is done and should be enjoying his retirement in Toowoomba (nice place). He has put in a full camp for this and his only hope is to finish this early as the longer it goes the better for Coyle. The 18/1 for Katsidis to win in 1-3 is far too big against a fragile opponent.

Bunting putting up a decent performance against Taylor here with a shot at a 9 darter 1 leg in front if he does well here in the Europeans sure to see his world odds come down.

Edit - 10 darter.

Malinga lost on points.

Coyle fight is on after the Campbell fight on Sky Sports 3.
