Great build up to this game. Really looking forward to it.

Quick Q re: safety first scoring play.

Is "Green Bay safety" a score for Seattle? I know it's the equivalent of an 'own goal' but don't want to put my dough on the wrong team.

the one we want is green bay conceding a 2 point safety to seattle for them to take the lead.

wet ball is snapped with green bay near their own goal-line, a slightly incapacitated Rodgers gingerly bends down as the snap is a bit low, and fumbles it. he lands on the ball in the end zone

the seattle pass rush swarms on the ball, lands on Rodgers. Safety. the 12th man roars, at around 126 decibels

rodgers adjusts his shoulder pads, looks to the skies and knows a long night awaits

that doesn't answer your question, so if i have got it wrong let me know and i can re-book/re-place

BMU has 'seatle safety' at 60/1, while 'Green Bay safety' is 100/1. That tells me that you most likely put the wrong bet down.

There was a rumour going round in our town a week or two ago of this local bloke who had a working Boylesports account.

Adverts in the local paper, including a reward, have yet to bring forward a claimant.

Stopped raining again and sun is out now, it's moderately windy and chilly. Wind heading into and across the  Hawks nest end.  Pitch is wet and some of the green dye from the turf has washed into the end zones. Looks decent conditions to play in now tho won't know how wet it is til they start trying to run on it.

Good luck to the thread on the Green Bay conference bet.Gone for first touchdown type Defense/Special teams for a bit of interest.

Almost won the Adams bet inside five minutes. Instead, everyone remembers why throwing near Richard Sherman is a bad idea Cheesy

Edit: I see Fred is only on the Quarless bet. Sorry. As you were!

Anyone else feeling slightly interested in this game now?

End of the first quarter:

Seattle Boom Legionnaires 0
Green Bay Fredites               13

That 15 yards was probably worth it...

Even Howard Webb doesn't give this many penalties
