just sent pm tighty

Mikaela races in Slalom & Giant Slalom (GS). Not Super G or Downhill. Our bet is a season bet in Giant Slalom (GS) only. Confusing I know.

apologies not been around much to update, usual work & stuff

Oh my, is it really him?

I'd never have recognized him in a month of Sundays.

overnight

Team Irvin tops Team Carter 32-28 in ProBowl

Irvin and the unders came in

worth watching on catch up if anyone has the time, was a fun game

Didn't have a bet, but was a good game.

I imagine Team Irvin were quite pleased when they saw Dalton taking the field, so they could try and win the game on the last drive Cheesy

Happy Birthday Fred.

Try and get you a small token birthday winner.

I have been following Iron Butterfly too long, and it may pop up today, but for these purposes,

Call me Vic, 2.50 Ludlow.

Looks like a typical slow burner for Tom George being brought to the boil. The extra half mile against some mainly out of form competition should give us a good run.

£10 ew @5-1

A match to savour on Friday night.  Watford are absolutely buzzing at the moment after beating Charlton 5-0 and scoring seven in the second half against Blackpool.

Optimism is high, but this next game will tell us much.  In games against Derby, Norwich, Bournemouth, Ipswich and Middlesboro this season Watford have yet to win (2 draws and 3 defeats).  The suspicion remains that they are a flat track bully who fills their boots when they are playing a team low on confidence but can't get it together when it really matters.

Three factors give hope that this will change.  The Mexican Layun looks a class act and has seen it all before being a fixture for Mexico at the world cup.  He's a wing back, but Watford have been using him to pick a pass in central midfield and he's looked great.

Secondly, Ben Watson from Wigan has been added to central midfield.  I've only seen him for one half but he's exactly the kind of no nonsense player we need who keeps it simple and lets the fancy dans go to work.  Not sure if he'll be fit enough to play 90 mins on Friday though.

Thirdly, and most importantly, Odion Ighalo.  I've not seen much like it.  Incredible attitude shown when being on the bench behind Vydra and Deeney but now first choice with Troy.  Magic feet, tricks and most importantly always in the poachers spot for a chance.  6 goals in his last 2 games.

I get the feeling if Watford win this, they will win easily as everything will have clicked into gear permanently.  But overall the match odds look about right to me.

However, Ighalo is too big in all his markets.  Suggest a modest £30 interest if we have access to Coral.

£20 Ighalo to score anytime at 9/4
£7 Ighalo to score 2 or more goals at 11-1
£3 Ighalo hatrick at 40-1

Anyone else like Nishikori at 14-1.  Absolutely dismantled Ferrer.  Looks a smidgen of value.

on pre-tournament. Djokovic much stronger than i expected though, Nish in the wrong half (would fancy him to beat Rafa or Murray at the moment)
