both at 33/1 are decent bets.  People are asking for much less than 25/1 on betfair for both teams to go down.  ty for marking my card and forcing me to have a look at this market.  I don't expect many people to follow me in on here but 33/1 on your mob to go down is worth a bet.

You are right though Everton are a better team than Newcastle and should be priced as such to go down.

Just posted this on Geordies thread in reply to someone asking me a question.  Think Newcastle are worthy of a decent bet at 33/1 to go down.  People are asking for under 25/1 for decent money on bf (last price matched was 19/1).  Suggest £50 at 33/1.

Everton are similarly over priced at 33/1 but not the value Newcastle are (sporting index have Everton in for 1 more point over the season than Newcastle) but 33/1 is still value. People asking for 26/1 on bf for decent moneey and 24/1 last price matched on bf.  Recommened £25 on Everton at 33/1

Either bet is obviously a great use of a free bet token should you have any currently to use with the firms in question.

Newcastle only need about 6 points to be safe, Everton 10ish.  Surely there is more than enough Everton are a better team in that?   Maybe they are both value?  I would like to see the correlation between Pardew Out and those people asking for 26/1 for sure.

Does 33-35 points keep you up nowadays in the EPL?

Guess so, the bottom 3 are 3 off a point a game right now, so I'd expect the final position to be slightly worse.  Assuming teams averaging a point a game are going to continue at that is as good a projection as any.  Of course, shit happens and Hull could take off like Palace have done this year and last.  But if that happens somebody is likely to run bad too.  All a guess, but am reasonably sure it should be better than looking at previous points to be relegated.

Crystal Palace are 11/4 to finish above Newcastle United in the Premier League following John Carver's appointment

This is b365 so may not be for the thread, but

Carver has W0 D1 L3

Pardew P2 W2 in the league

Palace are 4 points behind with 16 games to go

they have to play each other at palace on 11 Feb

What do you think of the 11/4?

Have they still got this? Only match bet I can see is Newcastle v Sunderland.

sorry for the delay, have been travelling south for the night

i checked with bet 365

" Steve Freeth ‏ @stevefreeth

@tighty Afternoon Rich - that one is available over the phone - 08000 322365, still 11/4 at mo"

Not helpful for the Stoke top 10 bet.

If you get knocked back on the bet I will lay you the rest Tony. I've no idea if it's value or not btw.

pretty sure a 1% account at bet365 will get told to gtfo if you try and place a bet on the phone.  Think you take what is offered online and that's it.

for the record, i didn't know what to think of 11/4, hence i asked. It wasn't a leading question looking to get a bet on

probably a bit recency-led, momentumy, ice-creamy but its not 11/4 if Palace beat newcastle at home, i was tempted to think

Tikay, it would be very useful to know if you can get more on a 1% account at 476 by ringing up.

Thanks

Someone who I discuss tennis with says the following:
Since you're into value, you should be well into Berdych odds to win the open
Into the semis now, 2.3 vs Murray and would be no worse than 2.8 vs djokovic in final
That's a double well under 6.5, but his odds are 10.5
And there's still a chance Novak loses in the QF or SF, which would slash his odds and make Berdych favourite in the final

The problem here is 2.3 is a redic short price for him  to beat murray.  I have had a max bet at 8/11 on muzza to beat Berd fwiw.  If you put the 'correct' price in for berd for the semis then the 10.5 looks 'right'.

I would also happily lay him at 15/8 to beat djork should they make the final.
