Afternoon Tighty.

Is today the day when we finally get to oppose that shocking shower of **** that is the England cricket team? I think 3-1 for Bangladesh seems good to me. I appreciate that you will have watched far more of the tournament so what is your opinion?

Hi

I suppose England will probably win, but i can't have them at 1/3 against any ICC top ten team even Bangladesh or Zimbabwe. I couldn't have them 1/3 against Ireland

Not because the individual players aren't talented but the whole approach, game strategy, coaching etc is playing a one day game about 20 years out of date

I had to back Bangladesh on value grounds and did so at 5/2 iirc since when they have drifted.

Adelaide the venue for tonight is the best batting pitch in Australia, and if Bangladesh bat first and put up a score they have every chance,  especially because it is a day/night game

cliffs: agree with you

Agree about Englands awful tactics etc. I had hoped the game was going to be played on a bad pitch but we can't have everything.

Suggest £20 on Bangladesh at best price you can find.

Celtic have been playing superbly well of late, Dundee United not so well I think of that is down to United losing both Armstrong and McKay-Stevens to Celtic.  Both have played really well for Celtic and brought much needed width and pace to our team.  However, today, both are out as they are cup tied.  With that in mind I think its worth siding with Dundee United today.  Celtic have been dominat over a number of our opponents in recent weeks but I think the number of games we have played recently will catch up with us, we are already nursing a few injuries and I'm sure players coming in today will be lacking match fitness.

13/2 with Paddy or Tote is worth taking for a sweat this is closer to a 5/1 shot imo.  Worth a score.

Nadir Cifti 9/1 with Padraig is out of line for FGS.   - £7.50
Johansen for Celtil also worth a small investment at 17/2 with VC. £5

If Celtic do win, am confident United score and there are fair few goals in the match, I'd be on over 3.5 & 4.5 goals

I was looking at the handicap betting and the Asian line but didn't really perceive there to be the value in that i would want to back it.

ok working through these

bfsb
Dundee Utd v Celtic

    13/2
    £20.00
    £150.00

i can't do the PP first goalscorer, i could get 8/1 if you agree

Dundee United v Celtic Stefan Johansen (1st Goalscorer - 90 Mins) Odds: 17/2 Stake: 5.00 Possible Return:  47.50

and over 4.5 goals

 Dundee United v Celtic Over 4.5 (Total Goals - Over/Under 4.5 - 90 Mins) Odds: 16/5 Stake: 10.00 Possible Return:  42.00

I'dprobably leave Cifti at 8's I thought the right price was around 15/2 - 8/1.  Just on the basis that Celtic score first more often than not.

Looks like a bit of a Specsavers job with that double sending off.

Good for the bet, or gg us?

GG us I think.  Both teams have lost their shape somewhat but that a terrible call.

Although we should have just seen 2 goals in space of a minue there.

Think over 3.5 or 4.5 red cards might have been the best bet.

That lad that got sent off for handball has every right to be aggrieved.

Anyway, Dundee U still lead, somehow.

Barca gone top of La Liga after 6-1 win with RM losing 1-0 last night.  We got a decent GD advantage as well as being a point clear now. I assume GD is the first tie breaker in La Liga in the league?  Does anyone know for sure?  Currently around a 8/11 shot we are on at 19/10.

I am 99% sure it is h2h. If all things are tied etc it then goes down to fair play, not likely to happen but if it did having Pepe in your team would hinder their chances dramatically.

Remember to enter the Cheltenham tipster competition, 33 in so far. Aiming for 50 which will get us over £1,000 in the pool. Happy punting.
