Betfred do an offer on rugby league where if the 1st try scorer scores a 2nd try in the game then the odds get doubled. I do this bet when the game fits my criteria and today Catalans v Salford is a perfect opportunity.

To do the bet I need the following.

1. An expectation of points - well it's Salford who don't do defence and the line is 52.5 points.

2. The better side is at home. The handicap is set at -18 points for Catalan.

3. A proven try scorer - in Escare and Oldfield Catalans have 2 of last seasons superleague top try scorers.

If either of our selections score first I would make them odds on to score a second try, triggering the doubled odds.

Suggest £5 on both Escare @ 6-1 and Oldfield @ 7-1 both with betfred.
