Murray with a goal and two assists today. Monster.

See no reason why he doesn't carry on trying very hard with nothing to fight for in the league because we have 6 backup strikers for one role up top and I'm sure that not long ago Pardew was lining up Murray's replacement In the summer. And still will if his form peeters out.

Quite unintentionally derogatory comments from Pardew on Murray talking of him having a good swan song currently. So I do wonder if we buy another striker anyway and it will just add to Murray's desperation to continue his form.

Today was indeed Dave Robertson's tenth game at the helm and, to celebrate, his strikers managed to keep a fourth consecutive clean sheet.

This should now have been settled as a winner.
