Brilliant spot Tighty!

I shall watch with interest.

Tell you what - after the dreadfully sooul-less & uncrickety (?) grounds/stadiums in Dubai & the like, what an absolute beautiful ground Dunedin is.

Make sure you get there on time.

Martin's legendary (lack of) ability with the bat is said to stem from the fact that he used to cycle to net practice on his bike and there was no room for him to carry a bat. A rather fanciful explanation but it made me smile.

NZ is a place that should def be on your bucket list for a visit.
founded by the Scots in the 1800s it is like many towns in NZ that would lead you to believe you were in Scotland if you didnt know any better.
imo NZ is the most scenic country in the world. Im sure your not a Lord of the Rings fan but the film is worth a watch just for the backdrop.

The name Dunedin itself comes from the word Edinburgh or at last has links to the same word.

The name comes from Dùn Èideann, the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh

tikay is right too, a beautiful ground. You almost could be at Whitgift Croydon (the most beautiful of English grounds) such is the verdant greenery and mature tree backdrop.

Only holds 6,000. Not sure why it gets test cricket over Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington's grounds..but a nice change for sure

Napier also looks fantastic when the cricket is played there, I would love to go to NZ some day.

I love the stir it causes when Martin the walking wicket comes to the crease, the comms always milk it and when he does get a run he must feel like he has made a 50!

Thanks Guy. Is there anywhere that I can see how we stand so far? Who has how many, etc?

Might watch a bit later, but I'm watching the golf right now, which is being covered rather well. Gotta work tomorrow and Saturday, so it will be Sunday at best before I can tune in again.

How did the presentation go?

Presentation was incredible thank you! 99% certain I binked my contract. I really enjoy presenting, especially with the carrot of a contract (but somehow Im always up till 2am the night before still writing them). Pretty sure its the fact i dont know what Im going to say gets me through!

I don't know how the Darts bet went, I suspect we went down, but the Blue Square site is "down" for scheduled maintenance at present, so I cannot yet check.

The Vince cricket is going nicely, thouigh, looks all over bar the intervention of bad weather.....

Tuesday, 6 March 2012 at Dunedin, Day 3 of 5
Close (South Africa leading by 233)

New Zealand won the toss and decided to field

South Africa 1st Innings
238 all out (68.2 overs)

South Africa 2nd Innings
268 for 3 (89.0 overs)

New Zealand 1st Innings
273 all out (88.2 overs)

So, SA 233 ahead, with plenty of wickets in hand, & NZ, batting last, are likely to be chasing 350 to 400.

So we are, on paper, showing a loss of around £500, but that includes the £380 carrying cost of bets in play, & I'd like to think they have an overall equity above cost.

Delusion ftw.

Thomas Bjorn to win his 3 ball today v Crane and Colsearts at 15/8 with Spreadex

Course and conditions suit and the reverse is true for the others. Price is standout value.
