Cabrera makes the cut only 2 behind both after meltdown.

Nice to still have a chance.

Sandy

Thanks Sandy. We fight on!

Going against the grain again...just really pointing out a very big (wrong ) price for Wigan to win at Chelsea today

Im not saying they will win but they have come into form ( Beating Liverpool away & Stoke )and the price is ridiculously big at 11-1 draw no bet

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/chelsea-v-wigan/draw-no-bet

I  think the main bet for me today are Norwich playing  Everton at fortress Carrow Road.

They represent decent value too as they can be backed at  11-10 draw no bet

Thought i'd add my 10p worth to a great thread , so a nice easy start for me , On His Own 20/1 Grand National , I backed it off the boards in my small town for the thyestes chase after he was really unlucky to be brought down in previous race and he hacked up under casey at 10's and looked a real progressive stayer , likes a bit of cut and with rain forecast for most of the week I have backed him , now with the booking of ruby confirmed i'm going in again only small ew at a time , has the smell of a hedgehunter about it and could be fav by the off , obvs its the national and anything can happen but I sure he wont get any bigger after the ruby supporters get on , £25 ew Smiley

Thanks Fraser.

As I said yesterday, never be afraid of going against the grain. As long as the feedback is civil - & 95% of it is - it's all good stuff, for all of us.

I think I reacted rather too quickly to your Hull bet the other day, without awaiting feedback, so I'm going to wait a few hours before placing these two.

In that Wigan bet, you do not mention the "Midweek Champions League" factor. It was my understanding that teams which play big CL matches midweek, perform under expectation the following weekend. Probably an old wive's tale......Either way, logically, it seems to me that there can be very few occasions in the Premiership when 11/1 does not rep value in a 2 way market.

I'll look at the Norwich suggestion later, too.

Thanks, & I hope you are enjoying a peaceful Easter weekend.

Thanks Judge, & welcome to the thread.

I'll take a look at that later today. Gotta do the thread housekeeping first!

100/30 Barnet to be relegated wih Paddy Power.

Far too big.

Get on.

I was offline most of yesterday, Keith, so I missed this.

If I read Oddschecker correctly, the current best price is 9/4, which is too short to take.

Bugger.

Thoughts on villa @ 6/1 vs liverpool ?

I fancy Lolerpool today actually.

If this team has any backbone or pride at all, now is the time to prove it

I have a possible football bet for today.

AFC Wimbledon are 7/4 wiith Boyles at home against Rotherham. Most have them at 6/4. They have won their last 3 home games 4-0, 3-1 and 2-1. They have two players on loan from West Ham and Sunderland who have made a big difference to their team.

Rotherham have sacked their manager and are a poor team.

I live in Sheffield and have the dubious pleasure of having an office in Rotherham. The feedback I have confirms they are poor, their play off hopes have gone.

7/4 is way too big. I'm on.

I missed this one Rick - luckily! Hope you never lost too much.

Few little shouts today which il throw few quid on and done alright last weeks, colchester vs hartlepool, 10th 11th, nothing to play for now, last 16 games between them (not vs each other ) theyve scored 11, and conceded 12, and out of the last 16 games played theyve put together 9 draws! so i got few quid on the draw and under 2.5! also Aldershot at home , last 5 played won all 5, scored 9 conceded just the 1, and finally , Tranmere vs Stevenage  , tranmere have the equal most home draws in the league and stevenage have drawn 7 of their last 8 games! No doubt everyone will win 6-3 lol but thought i'd mention this info!! goodluck.

1 out of 3, I think, but probably paid for the lot - hope so. I was offline, so missed out, for better or worse.

May I ask where your alias arises? "dean232price" is the alias that Marc Wright ("railtard1" here) uses on 'Stars & next door, very successfully too. Is there a connection? Wholly innocent question, just curious!

Can anyone post a proposed bet in this thread, providing the research is solid, or is this restricted to you guys who really know your stuff?

Yes, anyone can post a bet. In fact, you are on the scorecard already, as I recall.

I'll Post the preferred criteria shortly.

ANother good Barnet result

Need a win from Macc or Hereford somewhere

Macc haven't won for 11 games

Hereford have won 2 in 10, drew today and look slightly more likely

A fantastic tip and sweat whatever happens

22  Barnet   41 -28  39
23 Macclesfield 40 -17 36
24 Hereford 41    -23    36

The worry is how either Macc or Hereford can find a win. All three Teams look incapable of winning. It reminds me of a bad selling plate at Southwell, where you peruse the card, first striking out the "no hopers", then find there are no horses that can possibly win!

I'd need to see the teams first.

Dalglish is surely going to blood some youngsters at some point this season, doubt it will be today, but might be.

I put them in at 1.45 to 100% so I'd need at least 1/2 to bet on them.
