I think we should switch the position on the bingham hendry bet.
Was there any reasoning for that Ace or was this another one of your 'ignore me ive been out on the town' posts?
You tipped it as a max bet on Bingham the night before. What's changed your mind?
Or was that an ' ive been out on the town post' too.

I'm not sure old people are qualified to comment on what's trendy and current in the music business today. However, the despair of the senior generation in our Vince Kidd coup has only increased my confidence. I have put a further £47.17 on our man, the max I was allowed, who battles it out with Jessica Hammond on tonight's show. Obv he will breeze through and advance to the public voting round. At that point we will need Tikay, Camel, Mere Novice etc to pick up them phones and get dialing.

Backed Milllwall +0.5 at 1.87 for £80 with 188bet.
Millwall have won their last 4 and Ipswich have drawn 3 and lost 1 in their last 4 but are at home today. I think this isn't bad, then i have the banzai.....
Wigan +0.5 and Chelsea +0.5 double i have on at 3.72 with 188bet as well but for £150. Going against a lot of advice that has been given on this thread.
Got the same bet as Tikay with Anthony Crolla for £100 at 4/5 and £150 on QPR +0.5 at 1.96, but has gone out to evens since I bet.
Three of the events are on tv today and i am literally not moving from the sofa to enjoy/hate all of them.
Lets do this, put this up here in case any of you want to join me in degenning.

I have not, don't worry - but thats a Podium (race) bet, so it's not until tomorrow.

Impressed with your conviction Mantis, from one Voice fan to another the Vince Kidd bet is a tough one I think. From reading interviews he comes accross a bit Diva'ish, and if that comes accross the public wont vote for him. I am thinking ala Kitty Brucknell from X Factor last year. Unfortunately these are talent/popularity contests and I done think he will have the "likability" factor required to win these things! I will however be routing it on as a thread follower and without an interest myself....GL

Horse for today.
This seems so obvious, I must be missing something.
2.00 Newbury: Harris Tweed.
The race is absolutely set up for him. He is a front runner, who should get an uncontested and easy lead. He adores soft ground and the stable is absolutely flying.
He is the BHA top rated horse in the race and there is no reason why he should not run to this mark today.
And I've just seen raceclear have selected him today!
I can't see why he isn't even money or even a shade of odds on.
I suggest £80 win @ 13/8.
