NBA again caught my eye :

Phoenix Suns visit the Utah Jazz tonight in what could be a playoff or go home game. Both teams have free flowing offenses both place in the top 7 overall but also lack defensive skills both rating in the bottom 10 overall.

Therefore a total points score of over 199.5 @ nitty 1.65 looks good.

Money line still looks nice at 203

teams are overs of the nitty line as follows:
phoenix are over this in last 9/12 games
utah are over this last 8/10

they have played each other twice :
 03/14 - UTA 111 @ PHX 120
 04/04 - PHX 107 @ UTA 105

As you can see both this seasons matchups were high scoring and both teams are almost at full strength , Hill should be back for Phoenix whilst there is a slight doubt over  Channing at pojnt Guard for Utah.

This is the season for these two so they will be playing hard all the way..

A dirty £50-£75 should suffice..

Lol the main doubt being he doesn't exist? Not sure who u mean here, maybe you're confusing the Utah Jazz and Black Belt Poker? Can't think of any NBA players with that surname, and the Utah point guard is Devin Harris, who is fit and playing as well as for years, 20 points plus in his last 4 games.

It's a nice bet though, should be plenty of points, and with Harris playing so well surely Utah to win at 1/2 is a decent bet or -4 on handicap at 10/13

As much as I like ripping Donks for he's NBA tips, the logic can't be faulted here. 20/29 is nearer 1/2 than 4/6 though. Valooooooooo ftw!

Noooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ur fibbing...

chomps can you explain that match bet booking on BFair...is that a price for any chelsea player to get booked?

Haha, we actually played basketball at Channing's house last year in Vegas, what a shambles. He's defo not a balla in any way. Skalie playing while smoking a tab however....lol. Forgot about Channing Fry, he'd be a slight miss for the Suns but I think the bet and logic is good, Phoenix have nuthin to play for, Utah have won three high pressure games to get this close and need to win this one to get in the playoffs....should be a great game

Boston although short ( not in NBA terms though ) @1.4 ..(spread may be hard to call)..may be an easy win as Miami look to rest everyone who can dribble a ball. Celtics prob be without Rondo and Allen but may play the other big two as they have Home court advantage to play for where as Miami would need to win final two and bulls lose final two to claim number one spot so basically cant change their playoff spot.

Jeff did you see the Spurs last night ? pretty awesome and there bench is so deep..I really like the look of Neal the Bup PG... they were saying last night if they don't do well in the playoffs they may start to dismantle and rebuild starting with Parker..I think they know Neal is gonna be a star and the trade value of Parker is huge..

I just looked at backing Boston too, was confirmed Miami resting big three on twitter but think the price is too skinny. Watched the Spurs last night, they look great....but they did last year too and then lost in the first round. They only really have one addition to that team, Kawhi Leonard, who's a really good player, but their star three are all a year older, and esp for Duncan and Manu that's a negative as they're defo past their best. They've changed to a more offensive team now which has made a diff but their old boys will strugle in a proper shhotout against a young team like OKC.

Parker is in his prime but I think Neal is the weak link in this squad. He's a decent shooting guard but he's playing as back up point and he's just not a point guard. I couldn't work out why they don't have a proper back up point and leave Neal as a three point shooter, which he's really good at....it seems their back up point guard TJ Ford did his neck in in mid season and had to retire there and then, so they have no reserve point guard. It all means Parker has to play loads, the pressure is on Neal playing OOP when he does come on, and if Parker picks up an injury they're abs dead. As I said I backed San An at 16s and really don't see a great deal of diff between the top 5 or 6 sides so outsiders might be the best bets. I reckon there could be some shocks in the first round coz some of the lower seeds are dangerous and in decent form, the Knicks, the Grizz etc

It would if they would help pay off the Basketball betting overdraft we have! Wink

Thus far, it is our 2nd worst sport to bet on, based on nearly 3 months numbers, though it is in profit in April so far. Part of this may be down to me & my bet-sizing, or missing bets, but I'd rather like to get Basketball into the other column, the one where we make a profit overall, so keep them coming please. And I'll keep moaning......

Interestingly - to me, anyway - is that almost all our profit comes from football. Batten down the hatches for the summer, imo, unless we can turn round the other sports.

All rather interesting, the analysis of where our money goes, & comes from, imo.

Euro 2012 of course, though whether anyone will have an edge to exploit on that is open to debate.

Hmm quite like Neal ..but u may be right his 3 point shooting is v good. I think Duncans numbers are as good as ever but his 35 I think and pretty much there though Nash at Phoenix is 38 ...both are obv legends and future hall of famers . Tiago splitter looks a ready replacement. Dark horses? Memphis def..watched them when in tunica and they dug out a result and they seem to dig out results from close ones..gasol all star this year  and playing well..gay and Allen too... Think the playoffs will be epic and it's anyone's for the taking...

With help from Mere, the little glitch in the Spreadsheet yesterday has been sorted.

To clarify, we have a trading profit in the month on SETTLED bets of £169. We have already accounted for all April forward bets totalling £310, so we are in profit at present even if they all go south. Many of them, of course, stretch into May & June, so will not settle this month.

A reminder, too, that if we make a trading profit in April (ends Midnight this coming Sunday), then the notional 'roll increases to £3,000, the practical effect of which will be to increase the Max Bet to £150.

Link to spreadsheet please

The spreadsheet is linked every morning, in the Daiily Summary.

It includes February & March for those interested, too, via the tabs at the bottom.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=5

I only pointed out the price on Rickie Lambert Sad
