Tikay loves to moan about NBA bets, wouldn't be fun if they all won Smiley

It would if they would help pay off the Basketball betting overdraft we have! Wink

Thus far, it is our 2nd worst sport to bet on, based on nearly 3 months numbers, though it is in profit in April so far. Part of this may be down to me & my bet-sizing, or missing bets, but I'd rather like to get Basketball into the other column, the one where we make a profit overall, so keep them coming please. And I'll keep moaning......

Interestingly - to me, anyway - is that almost all our profit comes from football. Batten down the hatches for the summer, imo, unless we can turn round the other sports.

All rather interesting, the analysis of where our money goes, & comes from, imo.

interesting stuff this, i would argue that the number of bets so far are nowere near enough to form an opinion about which sport is best/worst.

With help from Mere, the little glitch in the Spreadsheet yesterday has been sorted.

To clarify, we have a trading profit in the month on SETTLED bets of £169. We have already accounted for all April forward bets totalling £310, so we are in profit at present even if they all go south. Many of them, of course, stretch into May & June, so will not settle this month.

A reminder, too, that if we make a trading profit in April (ends Midnight this coming Sunday), then the notional 'roll increases to £3,000, the practical effect of which will be to increase the Max Bet to £150.

Link to spreadsheet please

The spreadsheet is linked every morning, in the Daiily Summary.

It includes February & March for those interested, too, via the tabs at the bottom.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc#gid=5

I only pointed out the price on Rickie Lambert Sad

Sandy

I must have been a little over-zealous.
I'll put it down to tikay. Smiley

Basketball can be a minefield but reckon we might get you there if we can find a couple of nice one for max bet.... You do know baseball has kicked off..will be Turning my attention to the poof rounders game once they have some more games under their belt .

I would agree, but I simply stated some facts. If we want to consider "long-term", & of course we must, please remember my age.

Baseball is far & away my fave American-based sport. Bring it on, the sooner the better.

The Basketball stats & lingo make my eyes bleed, but have nothing on Baseball.

Just read that snooker stuff Bobby, amazing stuff, kinda remember Hendry in a cast or something now u say it. Poor ole Jimmy Sad

What a shame this thread wasn't running when the Reading at 150/1 to win the Championship was being bandied about, landed with Southampton's defeat tonight.

Teeks if u lay Miami for the NBA championship you'll get a great sweat through the playoffs, including when you're in Vegas and can watch games at decent times!

Current lay at 3.5ish....expect them to win tonight so can leave this til Sunday if u fancy it

Missed a bit of the price, as you were arguing about something & distracted me, but I've invested £50 @ 3.3.

LAY, Miami Heat, NBA, @ 3.3

Nope, not at all, it was taken as intended. We are levitynesslessness here. My point was just to sicilian really, it was my version of a Samuel L Jackson retort.

Not even close. I thought that it was a very good point, well expressed.
If you want to be rude and aggressive, you're going to have to try an awful lot harder.

I gather their Press conference got a bit heated last night, too, with Guardiola throwing a bit of a hissy fit at tough questions about recent results. Tough to assess a man's or teams character when they are winning everything, the test comes when a touch of adversity or run-bad is encountered.

What was it that Cliff Gladwin, the English bowler, said in 1948?
