I have, literally just this minute, placed it with Betfred, +3, @ 10/11. Price must have moved back. Official confirmation to follow.

Game 6 in the NBA East semi-final between Miami and Indiana tonight. It's in Indiana, they're 3-2 down and need to win to force a decider. I still like our lay of Miami because the threat to them is in the West, where OKC and San Anotonio are already preparing for the West final. Tonight, Miami, already without their only decent big man, Chris Bosh, have two more bigs, Haslam and Pitman, suspended for being naughty in game five, so they really are short of big men.
They're still faves for tonight's game, away from home and without three bigs, bit of a surprise, but they've won the last two games pretty easily, and Indy's Danny Granger is playing on with a gammy ankle, so maybe that's right. I really can't see how Roy Hibbert and the other bigs for the Pacers won't take over this game, the Heat will gave to have two guys who rarely get off the bench on the floor at all times tonight. Whether Lebron and Wade can cover for that from the outside is the million dollar question, but I think 7/5 Pacers at home seems the value for a lil dabble
All this high-tech talk of "bigs" & "gammy ankles", interesting.
Consultation took place in the Betcave on this.
We are ON, & for the purposes of records, HALF the bet is being credited to Jaffa, & HALF to red. Both Posted the bet independently, & near simultaneously, & both consulted on the means of backing.
£55 @ 10/11 with Betfred, Pacers, +3.

Sussex to beat Yorkshire at the Probiz county ground.
VC £60 at 4/6.
Early in the 1 day season but Sussex are top of the league playing at home at scoring at a high run rate.
live on SS2 from 4.40
If Carlsberg did Cricket Tips........
Nice one Jim, thanks!
Never in doubt.

Trent Bridge update.
After a gentle perambulation, I can confirm that it's dark.
Conditions definitely unplayable.
Well, unplayable for test match softies anyway; hardened 20/20 heroes wouldn't bat an eyelid.

nice tip on sussex
i cant help but thinking that if that game was played in the ipl there would be a lot more said about the "efforts" of certain bowlers
especially when you consider at nearly all points in the game and pre game there were blocks of money for sussex queued up on betfair....
anyway rampual is a massive threat if selected conditions should be ideal for him and i think roach might "bounce" a bit of last weeks performance (historically has not performed well in consecutive games)
I would also factor shillingford in the market with england seemingly always struggling against spinners they have not seen previously.
Edwards is not consistent enough anyway and his test record is in decline (cue a ten wicket haul) Sammy is a steady medium seamer who wont win this and if tino best plays then i would fancy a bat.
the best prices of 100-30 and 9-2 look a decent dutching opportunity to me pending team news.

It would be remarkable if a spinner (even given perceived English weaknesses) took most wickets in the first innings at Trent Bridge.

based mainly on the fact i do not see roach being anywere near as effective and shillingford bowling a hell of a lot of overs
pending team i will have a much bigger win on rampaul with shillingford as a smaller winner

Let's hope so!
Since the "New Stand" was completed in 2008, there have been three tests played at Trent Bridge.
2011 India - 2 of 40 wickets fell to spin
2010 Pakistan 3 of 40 wickets fell to spin (none in the first innings)
2008 New Zealand 1 of 30 wickets fell to spin
Good luck whatever you decide.

51-49 to Indy at ht in the Heat Pacers game....logic is working well, rebounds have gone 20-9 to Indy (lack of bigs see), but Wade and Lebron have 35 points between them to keep Miami in it so far (only four players have scored for the Heat)

Morning Jeff, & sorry to start the day with bad news, but the game ended.....
Heat 105 - Pacers 93.
So we did a lose, I'm afraid.

Morning Brent.
The "notional" Bankroll is currently £3,000. The size of the Bankroll itself, apart from the obvious, dictates.....
1) Maximum Bet Size, being 5% (£150) of the 'roll.
2) The maxuimum I would be prepared to lose. If we do the lot, the thread ends, & we have failed.
Progress to date.
February - PROFIT £119.17
March - PROFIT £187.57 (+ £119.17 = £306.74 PROFIT in TOTAL)
April - PROFIT £793.27 (+306.74 = £1,100.01 PROFIT in TOTAL)
We only "strike" the profits monthly, so I won't add in the figures for May yet, but we are currently LOSING £213.92 in May. We have £809.92 in "ante-Post", forward, or "unsettled" bets.
Does that answer your question?
