I'd like to put forward Belgium at 11/2 tomorrow against England.
With Lampard out today, out team is very much weakened and we will be looking to wrap up Gerrard and others in cotton wool before the game against France. It looks like Joe Hart will miss out too and Robert Green is very shaky between the sticks. Andy Carroll will be playing upfront by himself but I think he will struggle to get much change out of Kompany who is an absolute beast.
Belgium have some very good players and Hazard will be looking to put on a show before his inevitable big money move to the UK. I think 3-1 would be value so 11/2 seems absolutely huge.
Other Belgium players include Fellani who is always a thread and will alongside Hazard and Witsel most likely boss out midfield.
I considered the DNB option, but I am in a gambly mood tonight, so we have gone for the win, & I got 5/1 with Cyril Stein & Co. Just £25, as even when I gamble, I'm nitty.

Jimmy Anderson to be rested for the 3rd Test.
:-(
A bit of a blow, but hopefully we will be strong enough. Certainly Finn and Onions are good enough to get in most test sides, we have great strength in depth in our bowling

On a brighter note, some fella I've never heard of scored a three pointer while his team were already 20-odd down for the last score of the game. Out of it somehow...it's what we do
Jeff - do you mean in the Spurs match?
I went with Paddy Power's "money back if last score of game is a 3 pointer" thingie.
If so, we have just "won" £50!
RULING required by MereFundAuditor.
Hiw do we account for this £50? Effectively, I got a £50 return, so shall we just book a £50 return against the original bet? Jeff gets a winner then. Well, a non-loser. And it was part of his back-up plan.
Ruling required please.
It's pretty simple.
£50 wagered. £50 returned.
It's just like a draw in a DNB - e.g. Chelsea in the Champion's League Final.
Good. Almost feels like a win.
We start June with something on the correct side of the ledger.

I think Strauss pretty much signalled that after the 2nd Test.
Fred Trueman never needed a rest, & he'd send down 35 overs before lunch. These kids are going soft.

Do you remember that feeling you got on xmas eve when you were a kid? Restless and excited, struggling to sleep, wondering if Santa will bring the present you wanted. Well that's how I feel knowing it's the final of The Voice tomorrow.
If Vince wins this, the chirping will be awesome. Don't forget Mr MANTIS, they all mocked us, but we believed.
Have we decided what we will sing?

Good grief, can't believe you don't know the Great Man.
I'll wager that Ralphy Boy has a Cyril story or two. Cyril's Dad was known as "Honest Jack". True.

Daily Summary, as at 08.45 Saturday June 2nd
June began with a sort of dribbly drabbly day for us, just bitty bobby stuff in the main.
Vow in the Oaks cost us £25. We WAS beaten.
Next Liverpool Manager confirmed, as was the loss of a tenner.
Gloucestershire beat Derbyshire by 7 wickets, Tighty is in disgrace. £50.
Alex Noren went home after carding 10 over. Coetzee therefore "wins", & we lose £50.

What's coming up?
Cricket.
Worcs - Somerset in the County Cricket
Worcestershire: 340 (124.1 overs)
Somerset: 277-7 (83.5 overs)
A vivid imagination is required to see how Somerset can win that, but technically it remains live.
Golf
We still have Siem to beat Coetzee over 72 holes in the Wales Open, & Manassero also to beat Coetzee.
Remarkably, after a dreadful start on Thursday, Coetzee has a good chance of winning all three of our match-ups. (He has already beaten Noren).
Coetzee - Level Par
Siem +1
Nanassero +2.
In The Memorial (what a course that is!), we are on Stricker, £25 EW @ 30/1. Six places paid, we are one under, 5 behind leader (Sabbatini) who is 6 under, & we are just 2 shots off the score needed for a top 6 finish.
Horseracing.
In the Derby, we have opposed the jolly with "Astrology", £50 EW @ 10/1. Even a place would be nice right now.
Football
A shade optimistically perhaps, Belguim to beat England this afternoon, £25 @ 5/1, down to Plenners.
"Entertainment"
Vince Kidd in "The Voice", presumably, though I'm not sure, this is tonight. We have £10 @ 12/1. MANTIS & I were the only two people who believed in this Kidd.
Bish-Bash-Bosh
A rare tip from old Ralph means we have a near 2 month sweat on the T20 thing, £40 @ 15/2, Surrey
Lions.

Morning Tony
Spain are 3 -1 at Hills for the Euros 2012
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/internationals/euro-2012/winner
Put £200 on them to create a position for yourself as they are actually trading at 3.85 on Betfair and you will be able to trade back with( at least ) a small profit later
