Spain have won corners 7-2, 8-2,11-4 & 7-3 so far in the tournament.

Against France 7-3 and France had won corners 11-4, 6-5 & 8-2 in the 1st round.

A lot depends on whether Portugal can get the ball and do anything with it.

Tempting as it is i think no bet to be honest.

This is a bit different from some of those games tho as two of those games were against teams that set out not to attack much, one was against ROI who were just outclassed. Portugal have put up good figs in the hardest group in the comp, tho as I said above they have also been in situations that meant they had to get results/ goals.

It's too small a sample to use confidently but there is deffo a chance the game pans out as some of those earlier Portugal games did so at 100/30 and 7/2 it's prob worth a bet and I think Vince has staked it about right too.

Btw Sandy, I think that ht corners bet you put up in one of the earlier games was one of the best bets ever put on here, that was prob a case of the trader letting the tool produce markets as it would for any other game, without any thought for the circumstances at that point in the match. I was a bit sick I only saw it afterwards.

All these stats from the group stages are largely irrelevant.

Some are some aren't.

Teams that concede lots of corners will do so in most circumstances (unless they play a vastly inferior team) Spain having lots of possession is consistent and obviously changes corners for the op.as they need some ball to get them!). A dirty team is a dirty team (suspensions have to be taken in to account).

Obviously you need to temper stats from the games against the no hopers.

Those matches recorded 12,10,10 and 7 sixes. The seven sixes saw them chasing 120 only

In the 120 chase, Darren Stevens one of the best T20 hitters,scored four sixes alone, albeit at their Beckenham outground

Middlesex have Morgan playing too

The weather is set fair, Canterbury is a hitters ground assuming the wicket is reasonable

In the Canterbury game v Hants on Sunday, Kent scored four sixes, Hants chased and scored EIGHT sixes

Twelve sixes, so 72 of the 270 runs scored via maximums

I think there will be over 7.5 sixes.

William Hill rules:

c. For bets on totals in a match e.g. boundaries, fours, sixes, runs etc. to stand in a County Championship or Test Match at least one ball must be bowled. In limited overs matches for bets to stand there must be an official result and the full allocation of overs must be bowled unless a winning market has already been established or the batting side is bowled out or has no players left in the team that available to bat or the target has been reached.

d. If the intervention of rain or any other delay  results in  the number of overs being  reduced  from that scheduled when the bet was struck  all open bets on boundaries,fours and sixes   in a Twenty 20 match will be void if the reduction is by 3 or more overs and void in other limited overs matches if the reduction is by 5  or more overs.
