Amazingly Federer now plays someone even older than himself ! Malisse has only beaten Federer, once and that was 13 years ago. Can't really recommend him on this thread even at 8-1.
3G is apparently still on the driving range- he should pull an all nighter IMO.

I learned today that Bradley Wiggins was born in Genk. Is the Genk Love reserved for 3G?

After 15 overs the West Indies have hit 7 sixes.
They appear to be playing on a slab of concrete.
Who posted that on Twitter Horseplayer?
Edit, he did say "usually" which is correct, today it was a great for Batting tho NZ's Bowling was horrendous.
i at no stage said i had heard the pitch they were using tonight was a bad one
who was it from? a guy who trades cricket for a living and is very good at it

Daily Report, as @ 05:30, Sunday July 1st
Yesterday was a busier day as you might expect for a Saturday. Four bets were settled with mixed results but we made a small profit. Fred again missed some winners but also missed some losers. Such is life.
In the golf, Hoey and McDowell are 7 and 8 shots off the lead respectively so we are struggling a bit.
Glamorgan and Surrey both lost in the T20 cricket and look to be struggling now. We had a couple of new bets on the Surrey game that went awry.
The tennis went well with an easy win for Kohlschreiber.
Singheee provided us with another winning baseball bet.
We learned a lot about the number 666.

What's coming up?
The European athletics championship concludes in Helsinki.
Snooker concludes in China.
In the Golf, the Irish Open concludes. Hoey and/or McDowell need to do something remarkable for us to get any return.
In cricket, England play Australia in the 2nd ODI and West Indies play New Zealand in the 2nd T20I.
For those of you who enjoy football, it's the final of the European Chammionships. Fred is hoping that a long list of players don't score. Alternatively Llorente could make an appearance and score four.

Monthly recap for June.
We placed 121 bets on 15 different sports.
Football was by far our busiest sport with 45 of those bets and we made £51 profit.
Cricket and basketball were our heaviest losers.
38 different people contributed tips that Fred placed money on.
Overall, we made a loss of £473.34 on the month. This, obviously, isn't good and we need to become a bit sharper.
Since I started looking after Fred, he has made a profit of £283.50.
In aggregate Fred has now made a loss of £83.75 since we started on January 26th from £20,046.64 bet. It's been quite a ride and I've had an awful lot of fun from this thread. The standard of contribution has been great and I've learned a lot about sport and about betting.
I'd like to thank all those that have contributed and I look forward to your continued involvement. The more people that contribute to the thread the better as our knowledge increases and I'd like to encourage anyone that is considering contributing for the first time to do so.

That was not my intention.
I'll be more careful with my "tone" in future; I wouldn't want to start any unfounded rumours.

If it is going to be a cagey match with few shots, corners etc then the opportunity of backing Italy to have the most corners should be considered. Italy can be backed on Betfred at 11/10 with a corners handicap of +3. I would dismiss the corners result versus Germany as a freak, due to the extra rest the Germans had enjoyed and the fact that the Italians had to play extra time in their semi. With Italy scoring early on they could then sit back and let the Germans do all the attacking. This time the Spanish have an extra days rest but they had to play extra time. Also with Spain the most likely to take the lead, the Italians could be the team having to do the most attacking.
With few corners anticipated then +3 seems big to me.
