And were the teams in lane 2 today 7 seconds quicker than the team in lane 3?
the point is Aus drawn 2, GB 4 on Sat..gold for one, silver for the other, teams 7 seconds slower are irrelevant Anyway 6/4 in a heads up match looks ok, just the unknown variables concern me

Is the rowing draw random, seeded, or do the top qualifiers get to choose their lane?

Fancy the Lochte double which firms will lay you tonight even tho its arguably a related contingency bet.

Hi Tighty, The point I'm trying to make, quite badly as it happens, is if the wind is predominantly left to right and therefore affecting lanes 1 and 2, if GB and AUS are so far ahead wont the wind affect them whatever lanes they are in because there will be no other boats shading them after the first few hundred metres?

Seeded. Not sure who goes where but nobody got to chose today for sure. Sandy

Think the fact he has to do two finals in 30mins is the reason why.

But if he wins the first he still goes shorter in the second. I obviously knew when the races were on though

The fact he drifted from 1.36 to 1.77 for the second race says it all- hence why they are related
